The crazy thing is T-Mobile will literally have you call customer service while in their store that shit was irritating
I’m an employee. The reason for the in-store calling is most of the time we literally do not have the power on our end to resolve the issue in-store.
@@normalusername4070not even manager?
@@normalusername4070yeah and they'll say over the phone you need to go in store. literally had to go to the store 3 separate times bc of this kinda shit
@@normalusername4070The reason they did that because y'all guys were adding lines and device protection on customer's account without their authorization. I don't know the reason, but you were all probably getting bonuses from that. 😂

I worked at ATT and we really didn’t have any access to do anything it was so annoying. Calling 611 was actually the answer to damn near everything. I would’ve actually preferred to be able to just do it myself

Bro has more jobs than I have friends
Ex tmobile employee here, can attest that majority of reps would tell you to call 611 once they hear you have an issue and then 611 tells you to go to the store, no one helps
As a phone sales rep for at&t we told our customers not to go to the stores, so we would make more sales. It's mind-boggling for me that in store employees are just horrible, sometimes the instore employees would call us for help then try to take our sales. Or the employees would help them do basic job functions, or if we didn't have access to do something they needed they'll flip out on us.
Yeah they think there sending you to a corporate store thats why
@@ComradeNicolasman that’s interesting because at T-Mobile it’s the sales teams over the phone who have taken my sales multiple times to the point I never call unless it’s customer service based , most people aren’t shady in store Atleast in mine we did have one person but we got him fired because fuck him and his shady as tactics they always backfired
@@raulmelo5881 I used to get dozens of customers complaining about stuff on their bills. Store reps would add stuff to their plans so they got a better commission. It would happen all the time. What should I tell that customer? It's a horrible position to be put in. I usually say I'm so sorry for this error, I'll go ahead and remove the errors and your next bill will be on us. But after a point I get fed up and tell the cx that some instore reps can be shady and to avoid them. I once saved a man over 1k from a shady rep. Idk if you guys can, but at at&t we can see everyone that touches or even opens the accounts, so when I notice fraud we can send it to management and they can fire them or press charges.
Thank you for being one of the good ones.
The retail sales people try to get customers to call because they don’t wanna help people when it doesn’t get them paid. Then the support reps on the phone are expected to handle calls as fast as possible so they try to get everyone off the phone quickly. Ends up with no customers getting any help lol
Eddy got my phone bill goin higha n HIGHA
🎶higha🎶
Bro why is this so accurate 💀
Nah the finger crossing killed mee
What does that mean here? I thought that was good luck or something
@@dwgreen108 crossing your finger in this context typically means hes lying, like when someone crosses their fingers behind their back when making a promise or something
@@dwgreen108mostly a superstition type thing when people say “I swear on my life” and lie they cross their fingers.
the camera zooming in on the ipad got me 😂
I literally just quit working at a phone store, and sadly it’s like this.
It varies greatly, I work at T-Mobile and my store is fucking awesome. Great, genuine people.
@@ian.williamsonrare
Not him taking the ipad off the table 😭
I used to work for the help line for EE (T-Mobile in the UK) and yes, employee's both in store and over the phone would sometimes add extra lines to customers accounts without them knowing, when the customer would find out, they'd call up angry and of course we would have to cancel and refund the item, but the employee would still get the comission. A lot of these guys would eventually get caught though, always thought it was crazy how people would try that stuff.
I had it happen with Telus (Canadian provider) a few months ago. Never even went in a store, did all my legit signups through chat or phone, but somehow had an extra line show up one day. They claimed it was a 'mistakenly activated', later they backtracked a bit and assured me 'no new contract was added using your information'. Took many calls and emails to resolve.
Every service he adds to the bill his voice gets deepa and deepa
Why is this so true
You don't need to pretend to be a shady T-Mobile employee...there's enough of them that already ARE shady as fuq!
I use to work at T-Mobile and we couldn’t cancel lines in store, we still have to call 611. So it’s just easier to call 611 insted of going into the store
I work at phone store as well and 611 has more power then we do y’all customers always think yall know everything well then come fucken work here if you know everything 🤣
I work at a T-Mobile call center and we get calls like this a lot of times. Customers go in store to add one line end up with 3 lines and then the customer mad at us and say well I know them at the store they wouldn’t do this to me on purpose
Same for at&t, it got to the point in some locations we would advise customers to avoid the store and just call us. The instore employees also try to steal our sales.
It’s cuz what the reps don’t mention is that those “free” hotspots, iPad, Apple Watches, phones all have a service charge and probably insurance too.
@@TheRandomname951those are shady reps than , I always tell people that shit but u right we had a assistant manager like that , me and the manager got him fired tho so some T-Mobile stores are actually decent lol
We will try to upsell you tho , sorry it’s literally our fucking job don’t like it don’t come in ! Bill pays don’t need to be handled in store this is not 1955

The 611 is so accurate
I hate how accurate this is 😂😂
The worst when they won't help you in store
Those perfectly insincere eye contact moments, the raised concerned eyebrows and the animated facial gestures acting as though you care about what the customer wants or needs but silently indicating that you actually dont care at all, perfevtion man. Comedic perfection 🔥🔥🔥
You actually do have to call 611 for a lot though. They're sales representatives, not tech, not billing and theu dont know YOUR PASSWORDS😂
edwards gonna single handedly fix our economy workin all these jobs
Nah this was me working there you got it down 😂😂😂
One thing companies hate is a chargeback I will call my bank provider and told them I didn't pay for the services and since I didn't pay for the services on my end I'm entitled to a full refund at the end that we just screw over the store since they're the ones who are going to have to pay for the chargeback
“Best interest” as in interest per month😂
Let’s not forget having to pay a damn fee to pay in person and STILL have to pay even more on the phone. Love the world
Just set up autopay or pay through the app. Not that hard
modern day uncle ruckus
I work for a company won’t say which one but bro this shit was too accurate. Especially the part when you refer them to customer services
We would let them call in the store and some of them would be in for hours standing in the corner, and the security system was shit so if they tugged on the cable a little to hard the whole store just starts screaming. Some of the funniest rage karens from 611 😂😂😂
@@dom3170 bro we would tell them we can't speak on their behalf and the wait times are really long and they should do it at home. 😂
I work for Verizon and I make it a point to not be this type of worker. Sometimes, though, I cannot do anything and you just have to call 611 😂
So relatable 😂
I work at t mobile and we literally have to call our retail customer service all the time because they don't give us the power to do most things besides sell things lol
THIS IS WHY I HAVE VERIZON.
Lmao it’s everywhere bud. If it’s sales, it’s there
“2 numbers? Ok then that’s all you should see.”
*Gets back to what he’s doing*
Nah that’s too real
The eyes closed, “right right right” is diabolical
As the resume gets bigger and bigger, his voice gets deeper and deeper.
Aside from the commission part he wasn’t really lying. You do have to call customer customer service to cancel the line. He could’ve pulled up the bill after verifying the account the account and use and see what the breakdown was to see if what lines are on there and being financed. But the definitely do work on commission
I've had a somewhat similar situation when I first got T-Mobile. Sales rep added insurance on all 4 of my lines plus a plan that will allow me to upgrade iPhone's every 2 years. And to top it off, he made sure I didn't get a paper bill thinking he was so slick that I wouldn't catch any of that. Luckily, the phone sent me texts congratulating me for "adding" these services. Went to the store and the rep played stupid with me. He told me to wait a month and then he'll take it off and played this "sweet" and "caring" guy just like the idiot in this video. Ended up taking them off myself and have not stepped foot in a T-Mobile store since.
You know he needed to sell those insurances to get to a higher commission tier. That's scummy af though, where I work some people do some shit like that too but not that bad
I'm a tmob employee and this shit is frustrating from both departments. Literally the policy is shit, they should straighthen process to atleast make it easier for everyone.
Bro working everywhere 😭😭
Getting fired from everywhere, lol
The genuine employee 😭
Them retail stores can't do chyte, they don't even give phones..... You always gotta go somewhere else.😂
I used to work at AAA like 10 years ago they had us doing shady shit telling people we were gonna give them free iPads with service for just $10 just cancel it next month.
Not knowing they were free cause they were signing a 3 year contract and if they cancel they gonna get hit with an early cancellation fee.
I ended up quitting because my boss would give me shit everyday because I wouldn’t do that.
After I quit one of my coworkers added 4 ipad lines to my bill when I came back to confront him he said the boss made him do it coward
Yeah dude I had a T-Mobile store add an extra line onto my plan without saying shit. Then acted surprised and not sure how it got there. I lit them up verbally till they dropped it lol
Them trying to end the conversation way too early is so on point
AT&T be on this bs too. Had an employee open up extra phone lines, when I came in for a cracked screen.😭
Not him hiding the iPad 😂😂😂
Dude had fingers crossed the whole time 🤣
Its his facial expressions that always get me 😂

Lol this shit true no reason to go the store if u have a complain about a bill cuz the employees can’t help u unless u going to pay for something. The employees in the stores are SALES associates. 611 is your best option.
