Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 2023 from Sledgehammer games is the newest COD title thats come out. Ive played some Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone, and thats given me a unique perspective on weather you should buy this game or not. This will be a full review of COD MW3 2023 as of right now. - Hry
WAW, Original MW trilogy, and BO1 and BO2 campaigns are definitely replayable 👌 they had identity and charm to them

“Half open combat missions” = we dont have time to make new missions so we are gonna slap together old warzone and spec ops assets.
Overall, it sounds like an alright package. I’m still watching cautiously, Sledgehammer fumbled it with the last few projects that they were in charge of, so there is a change they can do it here.
I think COD is just treading water this year considering rumors before were that we weren’t going to get an entry this year. Hopefully they ditch cross gen next year. That will be a real chance to kind of wow people when the game no longer has to run on a base XBox One and PS4.

EDIT: Everyone needs to realize MW3 was a glorified DLC for MW2, MWIII is a glorified DLC for MWII ,,, Its the same shit. But modern and this time balanced 30x better than any older title before bo4

I've always loved zombies. I almost 100% the missions on DMZ every season. Hopefully it comes together well.

Kinda have to blame the fan base. They kept crying about cod being boring and repetitive. Then titanfall came out and they jumper on the advanced movement bandwagon. Now they're back to boots on ground. No consistency
You can bind Tac-stance to ADS + Sprint so it's not really an issue. Awesome feature in my opinion.

So the only credit I'll give the Open Combat missions is that they are trying to capture the same thing that BlOps 2 went for in that the game had multiple endings to encourage repeat playthroughs. While most likely nowhere near as ambitious, I think more open levels with various options sounds like a fun time.
I'd say it is as ambitious just in a different sense. Bo2 had mostly linear missions with multiple decisions while mw3 will have missions with one ending but "endless" ways to complete the ones that aren't linear

Dev 1: we don’t have enough campaign missions for the new COD, what do we do?
Dev 2: take all these unfinished co-op mode maps, put a goal in it and call it Open Comabt mission. Mush them with the liner missions, and we should have enough content for release.

"Very different build" I think I also heard that before Payday 3 release. Beta is mostly just a server test at this point.
Everything is just so uninspired nowadays. No inspired voice lines. Fake factions. Made up gun names. Generic music. Safe, inoffensive, corporatized story. Maps reused from a time of innovation. Skill based match making. I think it’s time to accept this franchise will never produce another “great” game.
Oh boy, cant wait to wait one more year for Treyarch's next game 💯

@@gamerdeol2694 Yup, that's what annoys me about Cod nowadays. Since they insist on using the 1 engine so it's easier for Warzone, it means multiplayer gets the copy paste treatment, that's why on a base game level underneath the obvious content and a few mechanical differences, MW19, Vanguard, MW II and now MW III are basically all the same game. I remember Cold War integration pretty much broke Warzone for a bit since it was on the 3arc engine, they don't want a repeat of that so they shifted everyone onto the 1 engine now. Safe to say the classic "treyarch feel" is a thing of the past.. Hopefully they manage to make next years game feel somewhat similar but it won't be anywhere close to what we want it to be.

In the settings you can change the button used for tac-stance. I switched mine to pressing in the left joystick while in ADS.
I really hope they address the camping. I came back to MW2 last week and its been bad. Everyone crouch walks and lays prone in the shadows in every mode I play. 4 guys to a room in Ground War. 3 laying in the sandbags on Farm 18 with one camping the spawn roof. Teaming and camping in Free For All on Santa Sena, and I couldn't even reach the score limit before time ran out because I couldn't find enough people. I hate it.
Splitscreen zombie round based maps!! Loved the cold war zombies.
I think Tac stance should just be a double press for the aim button which makes it easier to at least set up
I think just allowing it to be map-able to something else would work like L2+□ or L2+Y or even a stick click like L2+R3
One thing I hope is that gunsmith doesn’t actively make your weapon worse with each attachment added
My question is will the split screen work. My wife and I play together and usually it's 50/50

Man I’m visually impaired and been playing cod for over 10 years man and I’ve always had problem with people blending into the maps so I’m glad they doing sun about it now
Is there weapon crafting in this game i.e: weapon tuning to make your gun have more range but more recoil?

The original Modern Warfare trilogy is like an epic blockbuster movie with interesting characters and an emotional story about terrorism.
The second Modern Warfare trilogy is a B-grade military themed straight-to-dvd action movie that only has Cpt. Price to carry the story on his shoulders
Something I'm really happy about is...feel. this game feels more like old school CoD, hit markers, headshots, general gun feel and audio etc it isn't just MW2 with new maps, the game actually feels like a new game, it's just the artsyle that's stayed the same, which is a shame as I think they've got a very solid game here, which I really wasn't expecting. (When I say the artsyle is a shame, it's not that I don't like it, it's actually really nice, it's just disappointing that we get the MW style 2 years in a row instead of something fresh)

I can agree. While I'm very cynical of these last few cods and especially towards this one. The art style to me is different but like a cleaned up MW 19' with MW2's color scheme if you will. Which isn't bad but like Chopper and a lot of others including myself agree on, its hard to track your targets. Now I get it we'll probably never see team based uniforms but a pallet variation to differentiate teams could greatly aid in regular MP, and it wouldn't apply to Warzone. Now we might as well as forget the whole "realistic skins" argument because we already have that thrown out in the beta pre-orders. With if I'm being honest its an ugly ass snakeskin looking PoS Imo. My only worry outside of shit just being fucked come launch day is the player base itself. These newer cods are all about Meta and that shit always gets abused, granted Ricochet Anti-Cheat is a joke and has been broken since before Cold-War.
So if the security isn't tight and weapon or equipment does not get harmonized quickly then the whole game is gonna never feel good, and may as well die as quick as MW2 did in S1/S2. So again I'm the cynic here, but I still am gonna see this like the cod community at the time saw og MW3, "A 60 dollar update to MW2." Only now we are in the future and it costs 70. So unless the player base is happy and shit isn't getting a wrench thrown into it every 6 seconds by the time of X-mas sales then I wont be interested, especially since zombies looks like a joke to me.

@@Whiteknight-xg2pq You’re right to be. This game in essence is still MW2 with better movement and a higher ttk. Sledgehammer are the worst studio for COD. This game has terrible spawns, classic sledgehammer. It’s gonna be riddled with ridiculous micro transaction skins which will kill the tone of the game. SBMM will kill the casual player base. The constant tweaking to guns will kill the gameplay.
Nostalgia will carry this game for two weeks and then it’ll be dead.

Movement is good, but not optimal. Feels like there is a delay between starting your slide and ending it. They should adress that to make sliding more like lets say BO4 movement.
After your in-depth review of MWII I was waiting for your thoughts, I will proceed to watch the video and hopefully we agree on something(s)
Using ash williams and skeletor with the doom chainsaw in zombies is a small selling point for me 😂😂
It would be cool if they put the red outlines on players when ads. But then have it turned off for hardcore. So hardcore feels more immersive.
haven’t bought or even played a cod since cold war, didn’t enjoy mw19 bc of the sbmm and camping. been a cod player since the glory days of cod4. debating on getting this, chat do we buy or pass

For zombies players, what if you like round-based and outbreak but not DMZ. Is MWIII worth a buy?
I haven’t played the game but I have to assume it’s pretty much a copy and paste of Cold War with DMZ content in it, I too am a traditional zombies player and like the round based game play, if I had to guess, we’re not going to enjoy it as much but if you liked outbreak and DMZ then you should like this but if you’re like me and like the black ops style of zombies, it’s an easy pass for sure
I can’t find this anywhere on the internet but if you have MW2 then can you play the open beta for free??? It let me install the MW3 multiplayer on MW2 but not sure if it’ll allow me to play it.
Perhaps double tapping ADS would be a good alternative to toggling to tactical stance?

I don't understand why they don't use the curve of the jostick to toogle to "tac" mod. Press LT all the way to scope and not all the way to toogle the new scope mod
I swear I heard them say at cod next that you could use an alternative mapping where you push the thumbstick down to swap stances

If I never played the og MW2 would this game be good? I usually don’t like Cod because of the maps but I know this game has all those classic maps.
When it comes to multiplayer from beta I loved it but I want the progress bar in the bottom for leveling I miss it

ADS + L3 on guns that don't "hold breath" seems like the logical place for the tac-stance
The visibility in the multiplayer sounds like a good thing to me! Remember that this is only after a couple of hours of early access - players will get used to the visibility. Outlining players in red would make it too artificial and take away that skill differential.
The visibility was perfect for me when playing on ps4 so I don't think there's any issues with it. People like to look through the old mw2 and 3 with nostalgia glasses and ignore all of their flaws but I haven't played them back then so I can judge them fairly playing on pc now and I swear I can't see anyone on the original mw3. People rag and shit on about mw2019 visibility but I could see people just fine with the og mw3 I legit can't see shit, I haven't played iw4x that much so I can't talk about mw2 but for mw3 the visibility is horrible everything is gray and green and it all just blends together like a chameleon, in mw2019 I could distinguish the players from the walls and foliage. In this new mw3 the colors of the players have a clear "sharpness" over the environment colors and I can see everyone perfectly
They have given you multiple ways to both use tack stance and how to enable it
I really wish they would make a mode thats ultra realistic. Slower with quick time to kill and only search and destroy

How do you keep the weapon SO STABLE while shooting? Is it down to attachments or handling of mouse/sticks?
Recoil control. Go to a wall and just spray a clip into it without touching your aim and check the bullet holes to see the guns recoil pattern. Then learn to counter it with your stick. Although this gun has no recoil but thats how you learn recoil control.
Another bug or not is just after sliding your gun automatically goes to tac stance
It's crazy how this game is just "what if MW2 was made by people who like Call of Duty" and it's even crazier that I'm excited by that.

I hate the time to kill in mwIII because I have played the beta now 8 times and every time I would fire on another player in a match they wouldn’t die and just end up camping the rest of the game

BO4 had the BEST visibility, the little red lights that show up on people really helped, they just need to do that again.

Just a mw2 skin and a con fleecing cash. We were told mw2 was a 2 year cycle now we are asked to pay alot for a skin with old mw2 maps. Also I would like to keep dmz as is I don't see the repayable aspect of dmz zombies pve

I had a glitch where I could see all the lights in the map through walls, and when a cutscene I assume should happen it doesn’t. I was stuck on the prison break mission for 3 hours just restarting my game, playing the entire mission over again, I tried everything.
Try restarting a previous mission on a different difficulty

Is it me or is the hitdedection and accuracy always good at the beginning of the game(launch) but after months or year after x number of updates it gettes realy bad?And is it worth 70€ for the same game in away besides DMZ with zombies?For me the campaingmode in MW2 sucks big , especially by the idiot "teammates" and they behavior.
I hate the 150 health far far too many times i have the drop on people constantly hitting there heads and somehow 8/10 times im the one who dies and constantly im dying in 4-6 shots but i always have to unload 10+ into them, the only gun i find consistent is the striker smg everything else feels like im hitting them with beanbags, bring the health back down to 100 or even try 125 or something maybe a middle ground
It’s not the health it’s the gun balancing it’s way off ARs are worse than SMGs even at longer ranges and a close range gun like a shotgun takes basically two shots even if you were in front of me so might as well just hip fire with an SMG. SMGs are every dominant it’s unbelievable that I’m using an SMG and beating people with ARs at ranges the AR should be winning or killing someone faster than a guy with the shotgun right in front of me, overpowered SMGs paired with this ridiculous fast movement and sliding around just is not fun to the point where i can’t even use any other gun apart from an SMG to compete
I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels this issue though

Inconsistent got registration. Unloading an entire magazine into enemies only for them to bunny hop away. Most frustrating experience with a COD game I’ve ever had.

this was the most fun i’ve had during a beta, and i can’t wait for the full release, lookin forward to next weekend, and i’m looking forward to doing the classic mw2 maps again. Great vid as always ch0p :)

Not gonna lie, your video gave me hope for it, as it looked like MW2019 more than MWII. I really want it to be good, but i just don't trust it yet, and i know that CoD betas are always great compared to the actual game. Last years beta fooled me big time. I can't explain it, but the beta felt way more fast paced and fun, then the game felt clunky and slow...

The outline system would be really bad for trying to play stealthy
The only thing I don't like is ttk as I can see it takes almost full clip to take down zombie
nametags not popping up isn't even a bug, they just flat out stopped doing nametags with MWII and replaced it with these really terrible tiny diamonds. i don't understand why they did it because all it does is help campers hide better because the chance that you'll see that tiny diamond is miniscule.
i feel like CoD´s new releases always just get 90% of the feeling right, its just not hyping me anymore.

Mw2 maps on MW3, Bland UI and weapons, unfinished mw2 story, graybrown is the color of every map, DMZ didn't sell no grief mode. I bought it, but i dont like it... so far
The want the campaign similar to battlefield where you have certain objectives to obtain certain guns or camo ww3 looks like cold war ripped of xdefiant but trying to be call of duty ghosts 2

The movement is the exact same when default as MWII. Its just extended with slide canceling, and the perk system.

@@cowpoke1077 Guys the cod cycle never changes, A lot og youtubers say "this is the best cod ever" when it aint. Compare MW2/MW3 to MWII and MWIII yes they are FAR Superior then the old games. Thats how technology works. Gameplay philsophy wise, MWII sucks ass. MWIII is way better.
Like Optimus literally posted a video crying about the same basic stuff thats happened since BO4 and people cry with him. If yah dont like it, dont buy it. I Skipped all cods, after Ghosts, except BO3, then came back with Cold War, and MWII (skipped vanguard) like I dont buy games I dont like XD.
I think Im most definetly gonna enjoy MWIII even if it is a glorified expansion. So im getting it.
@@cowpoke1077 Cold War was underappreciated since Launch, Since day 1 I was saying people giving the game way to much shit. The game was basically a BO2 Sequel, classic gameplay, had everything everyone wanted, zombies was fun and addicting af and they expanded the perk system in a super fun way. [Only issue I had with Cold War was the damn Scorestreak system, shouldve reset when you die, but thats it] the game is still to this day, hella fun.
And given the fact it was made in basically less than a year is super impressive.
