What irks me is how some people state that they didn't know Catherine had cancer and had they have known they wouldn't have said such things but that's no excuse. I hope they feel guilt and I hope that they never have to go through what Catherine has had to go through. Catherine, Princess of Wales has such a beautiful soul, she did not deserve to be treated the way she had been, I wish her nothing but the best and hope she makes a full and speedy recovery.

She didn’t blame anyone, she wasn’t angry, she didn’t lecture and she had every right to do that after the way she has been treated in the media. This is royalty! They asked for privacy, said that by Easter we would see Cate again, why was that not good enough?... I always thought that it was quite obvious she was seriously ill. Why else would a 42 year old seemingly healthy woman get abdominal surgery? This speculation was so wild and out of hand! Exactly Laura! So many ppl suffer w chronic pain, or w life-threatening diseases, or genetic mutations that cause disability; many that are not obvious to an on looker. I've known ppl who survive cancer, & then go back to their mostly normal lives; while others suffer for decades with other illnesses. Often, the 'silent sufferers' receive little compassion or understanding. It's once the big "C" word is said, that ppl start taking a persons struggle seriously.
I understood when they said Catherine would be having surgery, but recovering for 3 months, that it was likely very serious, &/or something she had been dealing with a long while. I was waiting patiently for 'after Easter' to arrive. What these prominent ppl have done is show how little compassion they actually have for the suffering of other ppl.
Blake Lively has like 4 daughters. Considering how much social media has a disproportionate effect on the mental health of girls; of all people Blake Lively should have been much more sensitive about what she posted on social media.

The real shame should not be on discovering the actual health situation but in failing to respect the dignity of someone as a person.
Everyone was told Catherine was having abdominal surgery and was given a timeline for her recovery which was a realistic timeline for abdominal surgery. We were told the surgery went well and she was recovering well. Why do we need to know more? Well within that timeline all this poisonous crap started....where's Kate? (Thats a dead give away they're trying to demean her), shes exactly where we were told she'd be. I find it a bit hard to understand why these people think its ok to mercilessly hound her while recovering from surgery but now its cancer theyll pull their head in. The up side is, many people have shown their true colours and I certainly will not waste my time or regard on them in future

All this hoopla was so crazy to me. I am not obsessed with the Royal Family, but even I knew Princess Catherine would he recuperating until Easter. My son was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma 2010 he had 4 different regime of aggressive chemo therayp but he had to have a stemcell transplant to keep him alive he had a wonderful lady donor from america she saved his life wevwill be forever grateful 14 years on he is doing well princess catherine will get through this she is stoic like my son my prayers are with her and all of her family i know what they are going tjrough
Had hodgkins lymphom (neck) 20 radiation treatments, 35 years ago - damaged the thyroid - but no problem. Goodluck to your son xx

I am praying for our dear, lovely Princess! I pray for her full recovery and a long, long, long life with her family. Cancer is a disease that has a lot to do with stress and our beloved princess should live in peace surrounded by love, that's what this golden soul deserves. None of the people who knew her in her childhood and young years before marriage ever said anything bad about her, they all knew her as a gentle, good girl. We also got to know her as a gentle and good woman, over the many years of her public life. Her brother-in-law and his wife have been defaming her at every opportunity in recent years, and she has suffered greatly as a result. This should never happen. I hope that these two will be prevented from attacking the Princess and her family in the future.

We may even delight in Catherine more...for being an amazing wife, mother, daughter, best friend, humanitarian, intelligent, compassionate, kind, witty, sporty, graceful & beautiful like no other "Queen in Waiting". What an example of a great woman she is... I will be praying for her daily. I just celebrated 10 years cancer-free, so I know it can be done, & she will survive.
