Great vid, as always. Pedal sounds killer, but I really dug the song--after the vid was over, I went back to the beginning and listened to it again. It really struck me, composition wise, especially when it hit the half time section and the 335 came in. Really cool!

Super creative! That build up makes me want to hear more, it's like "what's going to happen?" Soundtrack material. I told my sweetwater rep I was thinking of putting some trem on the board, he said to check out the Walrus -- if Pete recommends it, that I can trust.

A harmonic tremolo splits the lower and higher frequencies and modulates the amplitude of those seperately. So when the lows are loud the highs are quiet and vice versa. So it has nothing to do with phase shifting.

Hi Pete, thanks for the nice demo. Great sounding pedal. I was curious if you could do a demo of how you set up the Line 6 HX Effects with your PT15 to control channel switching, etc? And, what if you wanted 2 cabs for the amp, open and closed back, if there is a way to switch those via midi using an ampete along with the PT15/ HX Effects rig. It would be helpful for what I want to do. Thanks.
i mean this as no criticism of Pete whatsoever, but it’s amazing to me how so many people, even people who are really tuned in to the world of guitar effects, are confused by harmonic trem. It’s such a unique sound, that at the same time can also mimic things like phasers or univibes or even rotary speakers. But really it’s an LFO bouncing between a high pass and a low pass filter. So your signal alternatives between a bass-heavy and a treble-heavy sound. One of my favorite effects.
You convinced me on the Polychrome but the Monument pretty much sold itself with it's feature set. Man I'd love to start a YT just to demo the effects pedals I get..any tips? I don't know if I can do this half as well. Your creativity is so inspiring. You have the chops too but you seem like you would be a natural songwriter.

Good morning, is Tap and Rate control the same? Can the tempo be adjusted with the Rate button? Or it is necessary to set the tempo with the Tap button and then adjust the desired speed
Hi, I own these for 1 week but I'm not sure about the quality and durability of this Walrus pedal. Some pot's were lose and needed to be tighten... I read some people had troubles with strange behavior of the digital part that controls the different possibilities with the switches and expression pedal... Even if the sound is good, I think I will return it back and take a more simple tremolo...
Would you pick this one over the supro tremolo?
Im really stuck inbetween if i should buy the monument v2 or the Supro Tremolo... What are your opinions?

Just bought one but found it way too subtle, not rich or pronounced enough. I'm going to try Source Audio Vertigo I hear it matches the quality and richness of Strymon Flynt tremolo. At a very affordable price.
