The perfect blend of a great reverb pedal, song writing, playing and all of the above used with distortion, which is a beautiful, rare bird. Well done Crazy Tub Circuits and Mr. thorn. Thanks for making me "dwell" on staying with my digital reverb.

WOW! I never thought of the volume loss! I actually DID HAVE THAT PROBLEM with my fulltone mini deja vibe!!! Sounds great, especially when you use it! But... not for like$350!

I would love to have this. I have a 60s Premiere reverb tank that sounds fantastic once you get past the noise and then it only works for 20 mins so need I say more?

Is it overkill to get this for chorus ? Because the Chorus sound is just out there with just very slight detuned vibrato. But I'd never use the pitch shift more than at 10 oclock.. So a big range of the pitch shift I wouldn't use. But that chorus.. wow And can this do subtle Leslie type effects ?

It always amazes me when I see these and put the monitor in mono that the delay completely is gone. Try it!

I'll be honest I haven't been happy with any Friedman amps,they are not as good as Marshalls,they are too harsh,I've turned them up all the way and they don't distort right.

So no. A Partridge transformer cannot be emulated with a pedal. Nice sounding pedal tho.

This has become my favorite OD pedal. I had been using a Boss SD-1 for years, and I still love that pedal, but the semi-parametric mid control, adaptive circuit, and cut control really sets the M-EQ apart from other OD pedals. Great pedal, great demo!

So I'm listening with headphones because it's very late/early and this pedal seems to have what I have always chased - 3D. In about 1978, in a music store (remember those?) the store guy had a Roland JC-120 with a Space Echo tape unit. He handed me the guitar and said, "just hit a C chord." Fortunately one of the 4 or 5 chords i knew at the time. But it was stunning. And I never forgot it. Could not afford/justify gear like that of course. Nowadays, you can get some great sounds relatively easily and cheaply, but this unit seems to have the elusive quality. Thanks for breaking it down and getting to the essentials of it Pete. It seems very tweakable in an intuitive way, which is very cool. I like it a lot.

The best parts are when you stop playing and just kinda smile while listening to the fadeout... lol Nothing needs to be said at that point. 😎

Eddie's set up was an old 50watt Marshall through a 1960A cab. No frills. Just cranked up all the way! The sound was always pure Eddie!

It does sound very solid state. Does not sound bad, but kinda stiff.
