@@PeteThorn Pete, this pedal aim to be digital delay at all? because that "vintage stereo delay rack unit" sounds very similiar to a tape delay.. like the for example. what do you think? how will you classify it? more digital or more tape style? (Regardless of the overall sound is digital of course) thank you.

He was close to Epicenter and took a Flight ✈️ back to Kobe and 2hr bus ride to Awaji and he steal got shook up as it neadured 4.0 there neer Nokuda Awaji, but it was 7.6 and looks really bad for others🗾🙏🌸🫶-🤘🎸🤠

I've been on a search for a killer delay ever since the late 80's/early 90's. Way back then when I was in high school there was a Digitech pedal that was so amazing. It allowed to do a lot of what you're doing here. Well, this pedal is definitely more advanced & it seems to be more of what I was looking for since many moons ago. I am definitely going to check this out and their "instruction video."

Do you have any more plugin demos in the works? Michel Nielson's 'Box Of Awesome' video sold me on the Friedman IR-X, but it was you who sold me on IK's Sunset Sound reverb and Celestion's Speaker Mix pro plugins I use with it (plus the Pete Thorn IRs I use if I use Two Notes). I quite like that CLA Epic delay and reverb by Waves too.
I see ever more guitar gear being released with options for DAW use, so plugins for guitar players will be a growing market too I guess. In other words, hey plugin makers, get Pete to do your demos! You'll sell more.
The home DAW user is the new bedroom guitar player. It's all good. 😎 (my spine got messed up, so I now play guitar on a super comfy recliner in front of my DAW with my pedalboard on a table next to the recliner, so I can slap the pedals on instead of stomping them -- the IR-X is awesome for that, because it takes pedals so well, yet is dead easy to send to DAW -- once I got a current doubler cable running off my Zuma PSU instead of the noisy IR-X wall wart -- maybe at an anaemic 110 volts it's not bad, but at NZ's 240v proper volts it was noisy as hell)

Pete the delays sound very good but i would like to see this pedal and other delay pedals have about 4 user preset memory buttons to save your settings,it is hard to find a good setting that you had if you do not write the settings down and even then if the knob is off a little you may not get that good setting back!What do you think about having user preset memory buttons?

As great as all the new modelling tech is, I still think that the advancement of what you can now cram into a small box in terms of high quality time and modulation effects is a far greater boon to guitarists.
In terms of amp and "dirty" tones, you'll never truly be able to capture the feel of plugging direct into a good example of said amp/pedal, cranking it and letting rip. These days that's difficult and/or expensive as you're not going to be cranking amps at most gigs these days and so you'd likely only be doing it in a studio environment if you're lucky enough to be able.
And as for the audience, they really won't know or care so long as you put on a good show anyways
It really wasn't all that long ago though that to produce sounds like these that you would need maybe two or three pieces of rack mount gear and maybe some other old obscure piece of gear thrown in
Sure, maybe you could do it with a bunch of pedals but getting them all synched up nicely enough is going to be impossible unless they maybe all have midi but that's really a more recent or boutique thing on pedals and so again, you're looking at potentially shelling out a fair wad of cash
Can you run just the reverb and the mod on their own? If you can separate them out like that you could probably do a whole gig with just this paired with whatever amp/dirt setup you prefer. And, if you do go in for the modelling you could maybe have a whole rig of two pedals (this and an amp in a box), two leads, a patch cable and your guitar
Does make me feel old though. Brings out the "kids don't know how lucky they've got it these days" in me when I think of all the Peavey Rage 108/158 and Boss SD-1 or DS-1 (or Metal Zone for the real crazies) rigs I remember kids having in my high school years lol

Not trying to be a shill but I am so happy I bought the Fender Tone Master Pro with the FR12 speaker. Now I don't have to worry about pedals or anything else. My guitar needs are for once, met.
