lovely interview, she is wonderful. I love the abundance of confidence he enjoys that allows him to welcome guests into thee conversation, such as his mother and audience members with questions. Either ego or fear linits most people from doing that. But 43:00 when he said his son is educated through CZcams, I realize my fear colors my perceñtion, buy knowing how intentionally manipulative YT is, with such such low long-term value, and just plain addictive, I found that incredibly sad. Might even be a gateway drug. But they will be fine, I'm sure. His energy is so engaging, a pleasure to watch. 👍

If you don’t have the money or the time for counseling, watch videos about narcissist and how to free yourself. Look at Maye’s interviews she is always on point. When I saw the interview where he acknowledged that astronauts, who were his childhood heroes, were against him doing Space X - to see the painful emotion as his eyes filled up with tears, it broke my heart for him. He worked 20 hours a day & slept on the floor of Tesla’s factory. My God, what an incredible human! But to hear his mother....it is obvious his brilliance is genetics! 💕

What a lovely lady. I can definitely relate to adventures. When I was 5, I flew with my family (the 4 of us), in my dads single engine propeller airplane from AZ to West Virginia. I remember flying through a cloud, what a memorable moment esp for a 5 yr old. People thought we were crazy... so much so that the press came to meet us in West Virginia to take our picture and write an article on us.

I had no idea that we were poor. When my mom noticed my interest in art at an early age she got me an subscription for an Art Magazine when I was five. It was for adults, so together we would look through it. My mom never got a chance to go beyond high school and we were in a small Eastern European town.

This is an amazing 73 years old woman. I just got her book out of curiosity. Maye Musk is open and honest about her struggles and being a single parent. She is an everyday woman who fought to get where she is today.
As a single mother of teenage twins, even before they were born, I worried about being able to respect their individuality and being able to nurture them the way they needed and not how I need to. May's words of encouragement to let the children blossom into what they are meant to become so they will be happy is something I will continue to remind myself of! Thank you for this very positive, love-filled interview. I *will* buy the book and read it!
I agree I brought my daughter up on my own, she is creative caring and a, lovely human being I didn't bring her up like my parents brought me up they argued all the time and were bullies they inflicted psychological pain on me I couldn't wait to leave home so I married young to get away then got divorced after 5 years I had some hard times but I would do it again without hesitation

What an amazing woman, very inspiring, I too was abused in my first marriage with 2young boys, escaped meet an extraordinary caring man who accepted my 2 blond boys as his own had 4 more boys and they are all outstanding testament of the values we instilled in them. Kindness, making a difference in other peoples lives, respect for all regardless of creed or race, and following their dream, being self sufficient. I am a widow and I miss him everyday, I am so blessed to have caring children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am now on the last leg of my existence, sharing my gifts to the younger generation of hairdressers who want to transition to working in film where I continue to be active at 79 years. I admire Maye, she was able to see beyond her own self satisfaction by allowing Elon to live with his father/grandmother for his betterment despite the fact that she was not in the best relation with her former mother in law and former husband.
One small correction. She isn't the world's oldest supermodel. That crown goes to Daphne Selfe, now 92, and still working. Began her career in 1949. Next would have to be the ever-stunning Carmen Dell'Orefice at age 89.

I kept thinking how her parents gave her the view of exploration growing up-and she clearly gave that to her own children, who are literally changing the world… but the most astounding thing to me is how REGULAR she is.. her approachability is what has opened every door for her and her family. What a blessing she is♥️♥️♥️
I think that Mrs May is an amazing woman, well grounded and well groomed. Her children's success is her success. She is such a proud mother and grandchildren.

I feel what she says about pain and like Maye I loved my children and left a violent partner and left a lot and started again. My kids are adult now and love me as I got us safe again, but I love them more and my youngest saved me. He has no fear and is a very happy successful soul.😁

Unfortunately, all this means is that a person usually has no boundaries (a weak moral philosophy) and therefore allows lots of abuse, tolerates it instead of being 'enlightened' and putting a boundary to unnecessary suffering, within and without (instead rather staying locked in intergenerational trauma).
Btw.: the host's mother is truly inspirational, such kindness in her style of communication!
