Looks good. A small paint brush (type for painting model kits) can be useful for putting suitable lube into the seal grooves on the caliper when assembling them. Hopefully getting into the corners and coating them enough to stop them corroding . My FZ750 caliper halves are currently soaking in acetone waiting for me to Cerakote them. Unfortunately I have found minor damage to all the pistons so I will have to replace those.
On my FZ I used a brush like you suggest. It works too. Here I did apply way too much making sure the grooves where filled with the grease. The excess does come out anyway. I have never tried cerakote. Do you use the air drying or the one you need to cure in the oven?
@@jh-tech5546, anything to keep the brakes working well! I use the H series Cerakote which is oven cure. I have a cheap oven in the garage for bike stuff. I tend to do a coat, part cure (100 degrees for 10 minutes), turn it to hang the other way up and do another coat to coat the bits I missed. Then cure properly (~150 degrees for an hour or so). It is a thin coating and does not react to brake fluid. Dud some calipers in pink Cerakote for a laugh!
