    This is so awesome. Thanks so much for taking the time and effort into not only doing the work (I know how much work this is!) but also to make such a great video. I've finally managed to locate all OEM/Mikuni jets for my FZR. It just goes to show you that after years of neglect, carbs might need multiple rounds of cleaning (solvents, ultrasonic, etc). On top of that, you can't trust that the last person set the carbs up properly either. That's a lot of work - thanks for sharing it.

      You're right. Sometimes you need to check the manual and specs because you don't know what has been done on them. I was lucky with the carbs on the YZF, the where in pretty good condition.

    better to use silicone grease on all rubber gaskets

      Thanks for the comment. Can you elaborate? I have used a sort of rubber grease designated for brake assembly. I don't know if there is silicone in it but I think it does a similar job and doesn't harm the rubber.

    In your video (22:30) you put 2 threads out. Can you tell me why? Does it have to be exactly 2?

      Hello, 2 turns out is the default setting according the workshop manual. It might need small adjustment in case the engine idle is rough but these screws are difficult to access once on the engine.
