Japanese people view characters and letters as some kind of arts, because of Chinese characters' characteristic, which is that each character is a visual representation of a thing.
The reason why emojis are basically originated from Japanese is also related to that aspect, I guess.

It’s funny how Lucie can’t get her wrapped around the Japanese way of laughing in texts 😂 I think it’s very imaginative of them, it’s kind of like an inception:
Stage 1: You write “w” from Japanese “wara” which means laugh
Stage 2: You write “kusa” because when you write “wwwww” it looks like grass
So if you don’t understand stage 1, then you wouldn’t get stage 2. It’s kind of an exclusive club with only those who are in the know could get in 😂
And the reason why there’s hahaha vs wkwkwk in Indonesia is because when you use wkwkwkw it’s not just for normal laughing, but laughing in a loud and boisterous way 🤣

As far as I know Anjay/Anjir it's mean soft version of "Anjing" which is Dog.
We use this Dog word like "Damn!" or for curse something.
And for son of the b*tch maybe what she referred is "Alay" which is in bad meaning is Anak jabLay (Son=Anak, b*tch=jablay) in other meaning (Anak LAYangan = People who like to gather under the overpass [jalan layang] with colorful hair colors)
Meanwhile in everyday, we use in soft version which is "Too Much" like : Act too much (Drama queen),
Too many decorations, etc same as word Lebay

@@tiagogontar379do you think possibly that's why they mentioned it, because of the double meaning? And, no they don't need to change their culture to fit the English language. Just like the Spanish aren't going to change their word for, "to bother", which is "molestar". Or Germans aren't going to change their word for, "soured milk", which is "dickmilch", and they aren't going to change the German word "wanken", which means, "to waiver or shake". You'll have to get over your pathetic need to control every single thing, that is said by every single human on the planet. Especially so when it comes to other languages having things that sound similar, but mean totally different things.
