Hey dude!
A tip on why you are always tired is because you jog so often. Jogging takes up alot of stamina (more than alot of people realise) and has gotten me killed multiple times when I first started playing. Crouch jogging takes more stamina ontop of that, and your weight contributes alot to it aswell. If you are running away from zombies, dont panic and walk, you are just faster than the zombies walking speed and it helps you conserve and regen stamina. If you dont want it to take so long to walk somewhere, just right click on the ground and click "Walk To" and speed up time.

To add onto this Be careful! If you use Walk To, and speed up time you may run into zombies and get bit
yea, basic rule of thumb is don't run unless you have to. everyone breaks it pretty often tbh, but when you're around a lot of zeds it's particularly important to adhere to

How do you deal with all the noisy neighbours banging on your doors all the time?
Cleared all of Riverside and built an awesome base only to fall off the roof, break a leg and squelch after a few seconds of frantic hobbling. Every death is a lesson learned, 'it's safer to build out than up' was the most painful.
You did ok, pretty good in fact. As you know, this game is hard. But a few tips;
1. Never run, especially if you have shamblers/fast shamblers on
2. Manage your weight (carrying capacity) and especially manage your moodles (this is why you were doing next to no damage)
2 (a). Bonus tip; don't forget equipping items (back, primary secondary) changes the weight reductions. And don't forget you can carry a bag as secondary and one on your back and hold a one handed weapon as well)
3. Know your surroundings - for example the zombies can't climb the fence you were behind in that neighborhood you were in when staying at the house and have multiple exits. Part of this is covered in the next tip.
4. Remove stairs to a multistory building if possible (if you have the skill and tools), then use sheet ropes and have sheet ropes set up at different windows (zombies can't climb sheet ropes)
5. You asked how to kill zombies with ease and no exertion, well fire is your friend if you want to kill a lot of zombies in one go. Especially if you are without skills in shooting and you're not wanting to worry about stamina. Just walk in tighter circles and corral them in tighter circles (don't lead them to where the fire can spread),
5 (a) Bonus tip; use noise to your advantage. For example by using a police/ambulance siren or even car horn to attract them but light camp fires around the vehicle... it's a bit cheesy but it works, just have plenty of food and beta blockers/sleeping tablets to sleep, just park beside a building or fence so they cannot get into the vehicle (park beside the river, then you know it wont burn at least).
From what I saw in the video, these few things contributed to why you died. But the most important thing, have fun and find new ways to survive.
Also in answer to your question about writing the experiences down and to see and compare our my own experience, well in my experience it is just like the game says; "This is how you died".

Don't remove stairs, it's too hard to rebuild them and requires carpentry six and a sledge hammer.
If you're dead set on this strategy remove the floor immediately adjacent to the stairs on the second floor so zombies just fall back to the first floor if they climb the steps which just needs a hammer or crowbar to replace and can be rebuilt with carpentry 2.
I don't use this strategy anymore unless I'm in a HUGE zed area like Louisville.
Once you're comfortable with combat and kiting I actually recommend just running outside if a horde shows up and lead them into the woods to wander the rest of their days.
@@josephmatthews7698 You know that is why I love this game. I have a few thousand hours in this game and I find that I can still learn new ways to do things. I don't usually remove stairs as I think it's a bit 'cheesey'. The sledge can be hard to find, but I have usually found one or two by day 3.
What I tend to do is to find an easy place to fortify and then I usually like to build my own bases. But I honestly never knew about this, great tip!
I don't like running them into trees, as that usually end up biting me in the ass (pardon the pun) because I forget about them and eventually trip over and get eaten lol. I usually skill up my gun skills, I like the shotgun and think it's the best gun type in the game and I prefer this over burning everything down.
About burning them, I don't like how if you return to the cell the fire is still going and zombies are still burning which spreads the fire. Also what I find is if you're trying to learn how to play the game try to use as few mods as you can but I also admit that this game has some fantastic mods. Playing multiplayer is a great way to learn as well, because as I said, you learn more ways to do things and it is funny as f@ck at times.

you should use the display outline setting so you can see which zombies you’re gonna hit and what chance you have of hitting them, especially useful with guns
You're jogging way too often. Rule of thumb is only sprint if you're seriously injured and have to get to safety in time to deal with your injuries, or if you're inside your safehouse and running around to grab materials.
Additionally; At night before going to bed, exercise. Exercise, exercise, exercise. Get your fitness up to let you fight and run for longer. Also, get into the habit of actually cooking food. It stretches the food for longer and is overall more nutritious. Also to raise strength quicker, get food with high protein count.
Protip: Shift + Clicking curtains will close them without having to go into the context menu, which helps to save a bit of time, especially if you're desperately trying to hide from zombies.

I have my own crazy stories but I saw someone on the Reddit post about how they were doing really well, but died because their character walked into a campfire instead of walking around it to place a pot on the ground to collect rainwater. IMO that has to be the best
Me and my friend where about to raid a gun store (we did not have a sledgehammer) so he came up with the idea to burn a hole in the wall… there where zomboids around and they burned the whole thing down. Only thing saved was a magnum with no ammo
Use something like the minimal display bars mod so that you can learn to better manage your stamina. Having a visual representation of how much stamina a specific action or string of actions uses is extremely helpful. Also gives you a good idea of when you are back to "full" stamina (the exhausted moodle disappears when you reach 75/100 stamina)
Go outside and try running while crouching, Now try doing this with a heavy backpack full of crowbars, axes, canned food and God knows what else. Should help you out with figuring why your character gets tired so fast.
well made clip and is nice to whatch wold like you to make 1 wid 2 friends and just go true the apocalyps and togheter . go as ironman.
Aside from what others have commented, taking the fitness traits goes a long way to improve your stamina during fights and as an added bonus also decreases the chance of being knocked down by a lunging zombie (not that you should be using short fences/windows for large hoards anyways...) Also, fighting while injured decreases your damage, thus prolonging the fight and increasing the stamina drained during the conflict, especially if the injury is to the arms or is causing the pain Moodle. It's best to avoid large fights as much as possible while still recovering from a previous injury.
Spawned in. Went through a window. Got bitten. Died. That pretty much sums up my (and many others) first experience. But I'm proud to announce that after several hundred hours in this game I've finally survived a full month in game. Constructed my own base, constructed zombie-funnels, planted my own food... xD And I have loved every single hour doing it.

@3:12 You have to follow the tracks past the train depot and head north to a point called "Gap in the Fence" which is the easiest way to Louisville.
@13:45 Temperature and clothing are important factors as well as fitness.

Glad you enjoyed the video! The map is one I found online, it isn’t actually the map in the game. Just search up “Project Zomboid interactive map”

80% of my playthroughs end up with my guy dying. The other 20%, my guy ends up "made in the shade" which becomes boring.
Running is the aboslute worst thing you can do. It will eat your stamina especially if you run during combat. That’s why I never run unless I have to or I know everything is safe and I’m just base building. Going out on loot “runs” should be a loot walk. Yea it’s going to take longer but you will make less noice and save your precious energy. And sneak running might solve the sound problem but your character will still run out of stamina especially if you are carrying things, I don’t know when I would be carrying a lot of stuff ? Maybe when I’m looting ?

I know I'm kinda late to the video at this point but could you share the mods you used in this run? I really liked this but I'm not one of th9se people that just download mods in droves, I like a more vanilla + experience and what you've got going on seems to compliment that

short blade is the least exhaustive, but alternate between them, spears, and a pistol. Thing about firearms is you can be as exhausted and tired as you want and you still kill just fine with some beta blockers.
How many hours of in game play does it take to get to day 30? I'm curious how long the days take to go by. It's hard to tell since this upload was obviously edited.
There is no way you drove that rv through the wreck of cars in the highway between mauldrag and the clothing store before westpoint.

What are all of the mods that you used?
"..installed a mod that turns it into a firestation.." followed by "..possibly the best base location of the entire game.." is the sole reason I'm very picky when it comes to mods cause they can take away from the true depressing nature of this beautiful game. But I can acknowledge theres lots of people that are the opposite and don't care about it.

i sold my console to get a PC. its far more flexible. you can mod games to add more content. console sucks.
You can play this game on almost any computer and it has controller support.
I play on my work laptop with an Xbox controller from time to time and I enjoy it. Not the best experience but I turn down the zombie population to keep it running smooth
@@dediwahyudi7678So did I, there's a load of great games that just aren't available on console. That being said, I do miss the ease of joypad in FPS games as I'm not too great with mouse and keyboard, and the joypad support is quite poor on alot of games. Just get a pc and a ps/Xbox, problem solved
