Double Dare Obstacle Course Countdown (HD, Widescreen)

- Double Dare on Nickelodeon was (and is ) my favorite game show as a child. The aspect I enjoyed the most was the physical challenge music. Here I created a widescreen version of the 60-second countdown from "How to throw a Double Dare Party" VHS. Enjoy!

It's in to the hamster wheel; grab that flag; Grab it... Yes! with 0.2 seconds left - I don't know how the hell they pulled that off. Harvey?

3. sundae slide(the good version w/ the chocolate slide)
4. the kid squisher
5. blue plate special(pizza)
6. fancy footwork(messy version)
7. the gak vat(filled w/ balls and slime)
8. the baked alaska pipeline
I get my sons to clean their rooms w/ this track, usually in about 3 plays.
I used this as my daughter's teeth brushing count down, she said it sounds old and I got sad lol
The show is revived people!

Marc Summers: Alright, we are here at the Double Dare obstacle course! Here's how it works, Red Team. Obstacle #1 is This Blows. We have this trumpet here. You have to press on the valves. Confetti will fly, so will a flag. Grab the flag, hand it off to your partner, and you'll win this!
Harvey: They'll each win Magna mountain bikes, more power to climb and accelerate. Magna, the hot new name on the street, distributed by Dynacraft Industries!
Marc: #2 is our Blue Plate Special. Today, our Blue Plate Special is peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You'll dig through the peanut butter gak, dig through the jelly gak, somewhere in there, you'll find a flag. When you find it, pick it up, hand it off and you'll pick this up.
Harvey: It's the ULTIMATE VIDEO GAME POWER PACK! This video game package comes with a Nintendo Entertainment System, plus all the accessories and a free video game! NOW YOU'RE PLAYING WITH POWER! From Nintendo!
Marc: Here we have Obstacle #3, Pick It! You'll get on your back and reach up inside this huge nose. There's a lot of gross stuff in there, but there's also a flag. Find it, pull it out, hand it off and win this!

Marc: Right next to me is a real time-saver in Obstacle #4, the Suspension Bridge. You're gonna climb up and run across this bridge. When you get to the end, jump off, grab the flag, hand it over and you'll win this!

Marc: #5 is Gator Alley. You're gonna grab this rope, jump from gator to gator. When you get to the end, grab flag #5, pass it over and you'll win this.

Marc: Right over here, we have Obstacle #6 - Special Delivery. You'll open the mailbox, slide down the mail slide, but don't forget to grab the flag. When you do, hand it off and you'll win this!
Harvey: This time, it's the Headstart Explorer, Marc. A family computer with all the important software built right in, from Headstart - it's the leader in home computers!
Marc: Obstacle #7, we have Lake Double Dare. You see we have one half of a bridge built, but we forgot to build the other half. What you're gonna have to do is make it to the other side of the lake without falling in. When you get to the other side, grab the flag, hand it over and you'll win this!
Harvey: It's table soccer! From Sportcraft, a unique tabletop soccer game! The action is fast and furious, realistic-looking players and field add to the fun! Sportcraft - THE GAMES PEOPLE PLAY!
Marc: The grand finale of our obstacle course is all up to you. Our final obstacle is the One-Ton Human Hamster Wheel. You're gonna get in and start running as fast as you can. As you run, the lights will light up. Once the top light comes on, the glove will fall. Your partner will grab the flag and if you have this final flag in 60 seconds or less, you'll win THIS!
Harvey: A SUPER SPACE ADVENTURE! Step into the world of the astronauts as you suit up for exciting space shuttle missions of your own during a week at US Space Camp near NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida!
Marc Summers: Alright, take a look at this clean and beautiful obstacle course! I want to make a big mess of it! Let's send these kids to Space Camp! 60 seconds on the clock! Audience, cheer 'em on! Let's go! (0:00)

Hi there, welcome to the Super Sloppy Double Dare obstacle course! Alright, red team, here's how it works. Right here, we have Obstacle #1: Gum Drop. When I say "GO", you're going to jump down into the balls, come out down here, and when you do, reach up and grab the flag. Hand it off to your partner, and you'll win this. (Prize)
Obstacle #2 is The One Ton Human Hamster Wheel. You're going to get in and start running really fast, and as you do these lights will light up. Once the top light comes on, a glove will come down. Your partner will grab it, and you'll win this prize. (Prize)

Obstacle #4 is Hunt N' Peck. What you're going to do is hit these buttons, and hopefully, one of them will reveal the flag. Once you see it, grab it, hand it off, and you're half way there! But first, you'll win this! (Prize)
And right next to me is Obstacle #5, and it is Moonwalk. What you're going to do is crawl through here and reach for the flag on the other side, hand it off, and win this! (Prize)
Alright, any questions so far? Ok, right here is Obstacle #6, the Mirror Maze. You're going to crawl through here as fast as you can. Somewhere in there is a flag. Find it, bring it to your partner, and you're just two obstacles away from winning it all, but you'll win this first! (Prize)
Alright, next up is Obstacle #7, and it is Pick It! You're going to get on your back and reach up inside this huge nose. Inside is a lot of gross stuff, but also inside there is a flag. If you find it, pull it out, hand it off, and you'll win this! (Prize)
And finally, it's Obstacle #8, and it is the Slime Canal, and you'll have about 5 seconds left. Just dive right in and grab that flag! And if you have that flag in your hand in 60 seconds or less, HARVEY, WHAT WILL THEY WIN?! (IT'S A FABULOUS WALT DISNEY WORLD VACATION!!!)

Double Dare 2000 was pretty good. It was cool that they kind of revamped it from the original series with bigger physical challenges and the Triple Dare Challenge.
@@YTWarrior100 give it credit. It wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be. Yes the Triple Dare Challenge saved that show but the title 2000 at the end didn't.
@@AJ42K Well you've gotta remember, it came out in the year 2000. A lot of movies and shows that year had 2000 in their name.

If you remember the Marc Vs Harvey episode, guest host Jim J Bullock made that same mistake while explaining one of the obstacles. It’s hilarious how Nickelodeon let him get away with it.
