That was a good hold, scale and win for the Blues, and the low OS guys weren't a liability - great match!
as a relatively new player it is good to see these types of games, they don't always end up getting to this stage
At some point bubbles are mandatory similarly to anti nuke in the beginning.
But you need so many of them. Like 6+ minimum. And because they bounce, you can't have any gaps.

Sure there is no clear cut solution. However I played several games where people had no idea what to do when lol canon shows up
The only thing to is lol, or kill it.
A single shield is 3k metal. If your team can build+power enough shields to protect them from lolcannon, they should have just built the lolcannon. (This is a difference from nukes, where defense is relatively cheap.)
The lolcannon is the way you say "I was able to sink >60k metal plus several extra AFUS into this, without losing to a push, I win you lose."

No one really noticed, but the anti-nuke coverage was pretty thin for most of the match. a few hits to the front line could've put the blue team on the defensive several times.
Blue team had air superiority the entire game but never used it to their advantage too.
I had a stash of my dad's old mad magazines and the spy Vs spy were my favourite parts

Dark Brown, and the Red team in general, seemed to commit the ultimate offense. Worse than T1 solar panels, they spammed way too many Gauntlets.
Passivity is poison, and entrenching yourself when you're ahead just leads to your opponent spending their metal on more useful things like eco and army.

I’ve had tech 1 light tanks take out aircraft. If it is around the same height on the terrain it will target them.

They work, it's hard to keep them alive and on target though.
