when you played TA against the ai, if it wins sea it goes absolutely ham on T1 submarines to completely deny any chance you have of ever stepping back out. a destroyer blockade is intimidating, and can seige land, but even the beginnings of an invisible submarine wall would've at least slowed that duck push

I don't play BAR because I haven't gotten used to the exponential growth yet but I found myself watching a lot of your casts recently cause they're honestly great commentary that keeps me engaged the whole time. Good stuff! It's kinda helpful for learning the game too!

I was the one with the tzar(edit: tzars). It was my first time playing this map. I tried to recreate my mayhem but didn't realize that the lobby had 1.5 metal per mex so my next games where duds

7:53 This map's south sea also heavily depends on if the sea player gets help from air player to make cheeky defenses on the little islands.
The terrain is a bit tricky since you have to use t1 AA or coastal torpedo launchers to flatten out the terrain for better defense placements.

The sea spam was absolutely insane this game and watching Vanaja get pushed up and then Vanaja just spams ducks and slowly gets back into the sea. Was a great watch! As always, great casting BrightWorks!

A couple of days ago I managed to take the sea right where Vanaja was. Their response was to make it a 3v1 that ended up costing them the front and the game. That strat seems to be a double edged sword if not done carefully.

47:45 Lunkhead is a better brawler, Cataphract is a better unit overall, Cataphract can hit every unit from subs to aircraft with decent 700-ish range that lets it skirmish and kite Lunkheads, but it's weak to raider units rushing by since the laser shots have long cooldowns.
Don't know why Lunkhead is Armada and why Cataphract is Cortex, seems swapped.

Brightowrks very often modifiers the Cataphract with a unit tweak. In brightworks lobbies the Cataphract is a pew-pew death machine .. :)
