In my experience, there has not been another one better than Coach Smith. Thanks for the memories Coach. Rest in peace.

As always, Coach Smith was embarrassed when others looked to praise or honor him...
He probably wished his players could have accepted this enshrinement in his stead.
I miss Coach Smith very much.

Dean was the greatest coach of all time. But a terrible public speaker. That was his big flaw. But that's about all he was not excellent at. He was a great man, a great coach, and an example of what people should strive for.

He's dead folks ! That's right the basketball god is dead. At the age of 83 he died Saturday February 7th 2015. He had been sick. It's O-V-E-R no time outs left. The clock has ran out, the nets have been cut down. The lights have been turned off.

What are they gonna say about YOU when the clock runs out? If it hasn't already. The sound of crickets ain't all bad. I'm sure Coach will greet you with an extended hand though.
