Deron Williams did Jerry Sloan dirty. He single handedly retired Sloan, I'm not proud that he played for my Nets, we've had great PGs such as Cassell, Marbury, Kidd, Harris, Kyrie, and he's one guy I don't respect.

Because of him Jerry Sloan has to retire early. Guess Jerry was very affected by it n loss interest in coaching. Thus his body went downhill ever since.

He was a heck of a player too. Along with Magic and the brilliant Oscar Robertson, the 3 best rebounding guards of all time. He was as good a defensive guard as there was in his time. And a decent, competent offensive player as well. A very important part of a strong Bulls team late 60s, early 70s.

I wish more realized what a good player he was. He and Oscar were the top rebounding guards of their era. He sometimes led the Bulls in boards for the season. A 6'5-6'6 off guard. Probably also the top defensive guard at the spot. He and Don Chaney of Boston. And he got u anout 15, 16 ppg as well.
Tough, pretty well rounded and a winner.
