It primarily focused on Paul Teuteul Sr. and his son Paul Jr. The latter found his way, but the former found himself in court more than once. His other son Michael tried to be the mediator by using comedy. That only worked for a while until he had to take time away from his family. It let him overcome personal issues and discover what he wanted to do with his life.
Jason Pohl is an expert designer. He loves being able to create, but he shifted focus and changed what he made in his later years.Rick Petko is the team’s best metal fabricator. He’s since used that skill to work on more than motorcycles.
Vincent DiMartino was a fan favorite on American Chopper. The show’s cancellation gave him a chance to pursue his dream of opening his own business. A few cast members have dropped out of the limelight, never to be seen again. Cody Connely wants to distance himself from the show and rarely shows up in public, as does Nick Martino. It’s not even clear what they’re doing today.
Information about Jim Pratt is difficult to find beyond a few recent credits. Other cast members used the show as a springboard for an entertainment career. Mike Rowe has since narrated several other shows. American Chopper was so popular that it was brought back several times. These included spinoffs and chances for Paul Sr. and Jr. to build their “final chopper” together.

The show became unwatchable as the focus became a father/son power battle.
I agree. I watched TV in the very little down time I had. If I wanted to hear family members bitching at each other I could of left the TV off & listened to my own 'reality show" minus the amazing talent of building custom choppers!!😂
Sad but true. Which episode is the most memorable for you?
@@FactsVerse I loved it when they problem-solved or their creativity changed the bike's design.
Agreed.
total shame...egos destroy empires😢
It was basically a show about an extremely dysfunctional family that built comic book motorcycles. I've met Rick and he's a straight up talented guy.
Interesting, thank you so much for sharing your life story. What other types of video would you like to see?
@@FactsVerse Yee honestly Rick and Vince were the real ones
i worked the GSK booth at NASCAR in the mid 2000's and the OCC crew showed up to pimp their show at one of the races. sr and jr did their time and split, but vinnie and mikey hung out and signed merch and took pics with their fans. those 2 had a down to earth class. sr and jr had a lot of attitude and testosterone, IMHO.
Very interesting, thanks for sharing this info! Made us love Vinnie and Mikey more.
Used to love watching the show been to the OCC in NY when we were driving Big truck and passing threw Sr. Was there and very accommodating so we could park. Wish all of them the best!
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
So why was the old man in an orange jumpsuit?
To get us to watch
Thanks now I will skip it
Rick Petco was an artist when making a tank from pieces of sheet metal into an absurd shape.
The show was a study of misfits and psychotics. Glad it has disappeared into history.

"There's something mesmerizing about watching an expert build a complex machine."
What does that have to do with "American Choppers?"
I loved to watch the show. It's sad they can't make amends with each other. ❤
That's the American family for you
Fake rift.
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
Senior is the definition of a recovering alcoholic parent. Every ACOA can tell you
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see?
Thank you for this video! I always wondered what happened to the cast. Loved and watched the show religiously for its creative side. What a pitty to have all this creativity and gift dissipate. Keep up the good work FV! I'm a huge fan of your channel!
You're very much welcome! We're glad to know that you love our video.Which episode is the most memorable for you?
Paul Sr. looks like a morphed version of Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon.
aaaaAAAAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAAAAaaaaaaa
Paul Jr., Bonnie & Rick were always my favorites.
Just met Paul Jr and his wife this year. Got to se some of his bikes up close. They are even better in person. They are super nice people and I highly reccommend visiting his shops in NY and NJ.
I heard they all became Chippendale dancers in the Broadway musical 'Chip and Dale do 42nd St'!
I don't get it.
I was on vacation and met a guy who was a teacher in NJ. His "brush with greatness" was that he taught "Snooki" from Jersey Shore as well as Paul Jr and Mikey. His observation was that Jr was nowhere as smart as he'd like you to believe, and Mikey was a lot smarter than he portrayed himself.

For all the cool designs and innovations for the bikes a couple things were pretty disappointing to see happen. Once I observed one of the guys use a chop saw to cut a rear axle spacer! Should have used a lathe for precise length accuracy! Another time one of the guys was drilling hole in a fender for a sissy bar and drilled right through into the new tire! What no piece of wood or aluminum as a stop to protect the tire? They could have at least edited this out of the show before airing it. That plus the 'drama' was enough for me. Having said this, they did make some really cool looking machines though...

All of them were kit builders, nothing more.
They made over priced junk...and where all mentally ill. The old man was a con artist mostly.

Who will design the first digital pinball machine? You can actually tilt it, and pay by credit card
OCC tried to grow too fast and invested too much money moving a few times into larger shops and buying more advanced manufacturing equipment. Bike builders fell in hard times after the 2008-2009 market crash. Clients stopped ordering custom bike builds. Paul Sr. mistake was he borrowed too much money expanding his business thinking the chopper craze would continue for many years into a bad economy. Custom choppers were just a passing fade. Currently the whole motorcycle market is in a decline because of inflation and people living paycheck to paycheck.
Sad but true. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
@@FactsVerse Keep on doing the great content of famous people.
Vinny D. Is a class act Has a nice auto repair shop in Walden, New York.
Pauley, Jr. was my favorite cast member. He didn't care about making money. As an artist, he only wanted to design bikes. 🏍
The show was fun to watch but all the conflict was b.s. for the camera…
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see?
Paul Tootle lmfao!!!!!!!!!
I think this channel does goofy stuff on purpose to generate comments. Facts Verse could be renamed Bratty Troll Channel.
most of the junk that was 'made' on that show was unrideable. no padding or springs on seat, no front wheel brakes.
Glad KARMA caught up with Paul Senior. I’m proud of Paul Jr and his team and collaborators. I’m disappointed at Cody, he had so much potential.
Initially it was entertaining with a hint of realism. Then it went full script and BS with the war between Pops and son. And that’s all she wrote.
So true! Who was your favorite cast member?
@@FactsVerse Liked both sons till Jr. Jumped the shark. I’d say Michael had the most appeal yet was under utilized. Considering how the show unraveled it’s a tough call. You?
I had no favorites but enjoyed the show with occasional battles. I admired their machinist and design abilities.
Nothing last forever.
Us too! Thanks for bringing back memories. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
The only winners the lawyers after all the law suits ,,,this is what happens when egos collide
Imagine having a US$1.5 million home which has the aesthetic of being built exclusively by first year apprentices.
We absolutely agree! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Be safe and enjoy the rest of your evening!
@@FactsVerse 3pm Sunday arvo here esse.
The weekend is still young. 🇦🇺✊🐾
Rick was the only normal person on that show. Everyone else was consumed with stardom and their own hype.
I’ve been riding for a long time. The show was about greed and egos, not bikes.
It's not tootle. It's " Tuttle".
Despite the ups and downs, it's fascinating to see how each member carved out their own path after the series ended.
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see?
I loved the show in the beginning because you were learning what went into building custom bikes. Unfortunately, the family drama took over and that was it for me. Too bad. There were a lot of talented people and I am sure many learned some valuable information..
They built a bike for Jay Leno and he got stranded because the bike's wiring caused the bike to die when a tail light went out.
Another funny story for Jay.
One of my greatest concerns on the road is the total failing of a bike while riding in the center lane of a highspeed heavily traveled highway. No power, no lights and no way to warn anyone of the dilemma.
This bikes look like cartoons.
Wasn't the name pronounced "Tuttle", not Tootle"?
I watched this show from 2000 until the end. I loved seeing motorcycles created and fabricated from scratch. It was one of my favorite shows even with the feuding of Sr. and Jr. I was disappointed when the show split and Jr went on to start his own shop.
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
Learn how to say their last name. People will take you more serious.
A motorcycle show about debutants who became showgirls in their own soap opera. Utterly ridiculous. It became too embarrassing to watch
The whole custom bike fad is pretty much over now.
Except for people with money...so,yeah...pretty much over.
loved the show when it first came out. when they moved into the new building i lost all interest. in my eyes they got too big for their britches and stopped making bikes and emphasized drama. you can see where that got them.
don't miss it or them.
Thank you so much for the birthday greeting! Have a great evening♥
I was definitely a fan of the show.
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
Looks like clear case of the owner not repecting and taking care of the people that make your company. What happen is the worker wants to manage and they run it in to the ground.
He is like a Big Fat baby and his son is a Shame to Men out there doing the same job,
Watched this show with my family in the daily ❤

When love is a missing word 💔 ✨️
I watched several seasons of the show. Senior drove me up the wall. His temper tantrums were childish. His design ideas were limited. His technical abilities nothing without everyone else doing the work. I'm glad Junior, Mikey and Vinny are doing well. Junior and Vinny were the real talent. And both are flexible and forward thinking. Senior could learn a thing or two if he wasn't a massive ego on legs! I think Junior was sick of Senior sh1te and that's why he was so disrespectful.
No mention of Paul on L.B.I. in N.J.?
I started watching Orange County Choppers online, seeing older videos to catch up to current videos. I like everyone involved with the show, except Cody. IMO he came off as too arrogant for his own good. That’s all I have to say about that.
yes my husband was a fan until his death in 2020
May your husband find peace. Thank you so much for sharing. What other types of video would you like to see?

What is with the mispronunciation of the last name?
Just like little kids.
🤔 sounds like you are talking about politicians !..
‘Tuetal’ seems oddly relevant as the surname for a clan who love blowing their own trumpets
I love Choppers ! I have a Harley Davidson and a Suzuki racing bike. Where are you have to swallow lie down take care of the steering of the handlebars can go very fast hour almost 200 miles an hour.
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
Tootel😂😂 these guys went through money like the average man goes through socks walking without shoes on, liked the show just wish Paul Sr the best, it was all him that made it all happen
Tootle? 🤣
Jimmy Duncan said the show was awesome
Is he arrested or locked up?
Oh well ez come ez go and money to blow
Very bizarre family dynamic, good show though
Not really if you know the life
We absolutely agree! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Be safe and enjoy the rest of your evening!
Good luck to the Tuttles.
Typo: Tuetels.
Senior was my favorite. Yes, he was a bit of a control freak but we all loved him and still do. Really loved the whole cast and crew but Sr. is my favorite.
I don't understand how u can be millions in debt, yet still have the capital to start another million $ business?
The father was shady and dirty look how he treated his sons that were part of the business ....he reap what he sowed with all the bad that was happening to him and clearly deserved it ....their no former glory for disaster and a despicable person, that didn't have respect for family.....that why u never work for family doesn't pay in the long run
Did you actually call them experts? Even if you could get them to run, nobody could ride one of those bikes. I guess you could call it fantasy art
Jason Pohl always my favourite, together with Rick and Vinnie.
Our favorites too, you've got fine taste! What other types of video would you like to see?
@@FactsVerse if tou can list down your top 10 OCC's bike of all time e. Im sure evryone here would like to know your picks
Met that kid from that scammy "illinois institute of art" in scamburg illinois. He was a spoiled crybaby country boy, couldn't draw or paint. racist to kids who drew japanese anime when he didnt have half the talent they had in their pinkies.
What is the father
Damn

Paul Sr was the force that made the whole premise successful but his ego and hubris poisoned the deal
This channel has been ruined with the use of an A.I. Voice
🤔 Absolute nonsense. This is Tim's real human voice !..
We don't incorporate any AI.
@@FactsVerse Im so happy to hear that, well whom ever did the narration did an amazing job sounding like it

The BEST show💯
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
Any episode that Mikey was in 💯🤣
Clown bikes.
Who cares
This show was dumb, but no one likes the Kunz family either. ;-)
Thumbs down.
We'd love to see videos of that biker "gang" that used to air. They were quite similar to "Hells angels" but obviously way smaller. They didn't take nonsense and it was one ofmy highlightsof the day watching that show. Just disappeared quickly. Can't remember the name...🤷♂️
It was an ok show. The only segment that mattered was the final product.
Garbage gimmic bikes ,,mail order parts bikes ,,
Could not stand the show glad its over
