Hey Jamie and Princess, can you tell Princess she reminds of a lone warrior standing at the bow get ready for battle when entering locks, tell her she looks cool standing guard at the bow of the boat !
Its the meat hooks on the feet that do the damage.. with most raptors..the beaks for ripping things apart. Philippine eagles are really spectacular flyers..😎 Good work both of you for clearing an escape route. That it was a youngster explains its getting into such difficulty. Surviving the first year or two is a hard game for most raptors.
@@SailingLifeonJupiter I once recaptured a Lannar Falcon ..that had got lost from its owner. Two girls were playing catch outside and i heard shrieking ..the falcon thought the leather soft ball was a lure and having been lost a couple of days decided it was a reward for him to catch.🤣 ..it took me about 1/4 an hour to work out a way and catch him without either of us coming to harm.😉😂. Watch out for Deer ticks and Tick bites..if your out walking in long grass or woodland.😬🤞🏼far more dangerous.
Good job mate, those towns are quite picturesque! I can't help but think nth qld could do with a inland water way with locks, to preserve wet season rains and obviously get water to the drought affected areas inland
Those locks do have a lot of turbulence going up....on lock 34 they had a "runaway valve" which opened the valves fully and caused a super strong current....it pushed us so hard against the wall, that we popped a fender and gouged our stainless rubrail. The lock master apologized for the incident and we went in to lock 35, shaken but glad to be done with the canal.

Ah serious!... We found better locks going down the rivers to the Gulf... At least better attachments... Sliding floats!

Yup... Like a champ... About 3 times the normal output and at 400 psi... I thought the prefilters may foul up quickly, but no issue.
