Those length restrictions are on the trailer ONLY, not including the tractor. IOW, no truck with trailers over 40' such as my 53' dry van. It doesn't matter if I'm driving a day cabs or a condo sleeper which would increase my overall length. Your overall length is 60', but your trailer alone isn't 40' long. Both FedEx and SAIA trucks were day cabs pulling 40' pup trailers. Overall length ~60'.

The gray tank should not leak into belly it should be sealed. If it is overfilled it will just not go down drain and fill shower pan. So you have a leak on top of tank someplace…

I believe when it says no trucks over 40’ means semi with 40’ trailer. On semi tractor trailer the wheels are on the very back of trailer so the wheelbase is much longer and will cut corners more. Your trailers wheels are close to the middle so in reality you have the wheel track of a 20’ semi and trailer. for almost all double line highway roads your trailer is gonna be ok.

I would consider closed cell foam board when you replace the insulation. It’s needed for heat protection too, that black top will heat things up.

There was nothing on that road that your truck could not have driven Over Easily. #1 rule with Rv's .....NEVER leave the water pump on, unless you are Actually using it. Always turn off when you are Not in Rv and ALWAYS when traveling. LOVE THE SCENERY THERE ! CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h

Watching this from Devon, England. Me and my husband are just starting out on our boating journey. Going to be buying a motor cruiser at some stage in the not too distant future. We’ve been to see our local sea school who are wonderful and have put together a programme of courses which will include Yachtmaster/Coastal theory. We’ve just done the one day SRC/VHF course which was examined in house which we both passed. I was just browsing CZcams searching peoples experience of RYA courses in general when I came upon this one. I am so sorry that you were failed. I feel strongly that you were failed by the examiner actually. This was two years ago now that this happened to you, but if it had been me, i would definately have made some sort of complaint about this particular examiner. The RYA ought to know about him failing you, his unprofessionalism and what I would describe as his incompetence xx

when the shovel came out i just thought if you love the boon docks so much get a more suited, smaller, higher RV. it seems like a lot of hassle with the big rig.

You should get a beater car to travel that 4 hour commute so you don't have to worry about insurance covering your expensive truck in case something happens to it driving in Mexico. Maybe a 1995 Toyota pick up or something like that. How come you switched from flying corporate jets back to 747's?

My uncle and cousins are Nicaraguan. Shame that you have to deal with pirates. My grandfather sailed around the world and was in the navy. Someone told me that he used to carry a 9mm automatic machine gun similar to the ones they use on US Navy ships today. The idea being that you could "spray" over the side of the boat and clear hallways ect. I was wondering if you had anything like that or would you even be allowed to tell me if you did. I know pirates are no joke.
