Man when you get them warmed up, they’ll run all day all night. I remember back in the day, trying to bust out the end of harvest before Thanksgiving morning, cold as blazes, storms in the forecast, we’d run tractors and combines deep into the night, park them on the headlands and idle them way down, go grab a few hours of sleep, come back to the field, climb up in the cab and get after it. Didn’t shut them down, and worry about not getting something to start; she was warmed up ready to roll. Good Ol’ days running 806’s, 1206, and a 1456!

I've never understood the guy who refuses to plug in a tractor during cold but would rather burn up batteries and starters to get equipment going.
