You displayed the harsh reality of coding interviews in such an excellent manner. ✨
One who gets a generic question and learns/copies the code is judged better than the person who has achieved much more by working on actual codebases if they fail to answer a specific coding question. Later on, the company expects the former individuals to work on domains which the latter guy was a master of. And the latter individual keeps on searching for a job. 🙂
yep this is ridiculous... To be evaluated on things you may learn by heart, but you usually don't learn these things by heart if you don't use it often. You actually never use it often, even if you do, they expect you to know these things by heart but every week it is usually different.

@@spl420 or just use // since you are working with int values, or if you need to round up as well do that. It's a mistake you only make once unless you haven't used python in a while. In which case I wouldn't recommend picking python in this setting.

Python sucks at everything... but it has so many builtin libraries that that doesn't matter. Python is basically a glue language.

Just because a 1 gb shitty, slow, glue language in popular amoung suits doesn't mean that it's actually good in any way.
Ive avoided the mainstream programming industry at all costs, which is why I got into computer engineering instead.

Uh I'm learning Python. Previously was on Javascript. Both are very good languages imo, but I especielly have a better like for Python because everything in it makes a lot of sense rather than lets say C++ that makes me scratch my head lol
