Great video. Was accepted into a sterile processing program in the fall but considering just taking the test and trying to get the 400 hours after applying to places.
Some programs provide externship placement nd hours included , so make the best decision for youu
@@Whyrico i would have to pay out of pocket for the program. I live in Chicago and when I checked on indeed, some places accept the provisional certification in the description so I think ima try that first 😭

I just passed the exam this month. I am finding it challenging to find an internship site to complete the 400 hours of hands on training here in nyc. I self studied rather than going through a program. So I don’t have a program internship placement to assist me. Do you have any advice? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey. I’m considering adding this along with my job as a MA to get more income and have under my belt. I’ve only saw 2 videos of yours so far, so sorry if I’m asking a question you already answered. But what schools do you recommend and as far as the accreditation, can basically any program suffice? (I saw a program on udemy. Honestly I rather get the certification quick without the troubles of going to an actual school)

Sterile Processing can be another form of sanitation, I use to do sanitation so that incorporates of disinfecting items just like ur doing the surgical instruments..(but u can put everything you learned from your class in your resume)!!!!

Use pro proofs.com best site I used to pass and quizlet the wording on the test is tricky don’t have to read, you’ll 100 percent pass as long as u study be over prepared so u can feel comfortable, not the easiest but definitely not a hard test
Where did you take your exam at? I took mine at the center city site but I failed the first time, I was told to take the exam at the kop site, it’s easier, wyt .
Taking your exam down center city it’s hard to find parking and it’s pretty expensive so I would go to KOP ,

Noo you don’t need any degree at all just a place to take the couse and a externship and your set!!
