In the first video of our new series "What Makes Our State So Special?", we start with the state of Ohio, the 17th state to enter the union. We briefly examine the state's histories, and stories and facts about the state, some that you may or may not already know, and include many popular celebrities, authors, artists, inventors and politicians that either were born, grew up or were part of the state's history. We are not able to cover all aspects of the state and may miss a few details. The Moravian missionaries came to Ohio before the revolution, which counts as settlement. The Moravian massacre was kind of a big event, to miss in your early history.
