A lot of guys get in over their head gambling or make the mistake of borrowing money from the mob so it's their fault. The Italian mafia isn't committing street crimes or going after businesses they're giving people enough rope to hang themselves with and the dumb ones put their head in the noose. Are they bad guys? The negotiation took more than 20 years to conclude. For $103 mill, it's probably worth the hassle. But for college fund, you'll be spending a lot more on the lawyers than the money you get.

      @Reformed Ex-DrugTrafficker Killed by the CIA? Not a chance. A lot of other people have evaded tax and stole a lot more money from the government, yet they still breathe and walk freely in the US. It is more likely that there would be rogue agents asking for a cut from him.

    • @aabidamn
      @aabidamn Před 4 lety +2

      @Reformed Ex-DrugTrafficker Walter Anderson, Leona Helmsley. Both are dead now but lived long after their conviction. Practically every US military contractor are stealing money from the government through mark up practices yet the companies and their VPs are still breathing. Regardless what you saw and read on the internet, the US is not a tyrannical country where they can easily kill their own citizen. Edward Snowden is considered a traitor on the highest level by the US government, yet he is still alive amd breathing at the moment.
      Your turn. Name the tax evaders that has been killed by the government.

    • @aabidamn
      @aabidamn Před 4 lety +1

      @Reformed Ex-DrugTrafficker Huh...I thought he died a few years ago. So he is ALIVE then. As for Leona Helmsley, she was convicted in 1992, released from prison in 1994, and died at the age of 87 in 2007. And your conclusion was that she died not by natural cause just after she got out of prison?
      She evaded tax while Franzese didn't pay the taxes he collected. Basically they are pretty much the same. And Franzese himself is still alive and well at the moment, so your theory about people are getting killed over tax conviction is pretty much out of the window.

      "Semantics" is the conduit of communication that allows the constitution and law to apply itself without inconsistencies and contradictions in language.
      You can't address one court case, construct a single law, write a single theorem, or develop a single solution with the application of formal and lexical semantics.

Especially Joey coco Diaz, his stories are all detailed it will make you question what? How? How do you remember that day so well. Crazy lol but it’s still so interesting and fascinating to hear how people lived back then. I guess that’s what makes a story interesting is adding those little details.
