I bought these from you last week and installed them a couple of days ago. I am very impressed with them. I went with the stage 4 fairing and tour-pak kit with four Kappa Perfect 600x speakers (no lid speakers) and the Precision Power amplifier, all in your truly plug & play kit. I appreciate your patience with me over several phone calls over the past few months. In the end I got exactly the right system for me. Thank you!
I’m so glad you are happy! Thank you so much!
just installed these in my 22 road glide along with precision power amp. awesome set up and sounds amazing. thanks for your customer service too!!!!
Thank you so much!
putting out more lows!! aww man i might have to change up my setup 😆 Thanks Jake
Thank you for watching!
Would love to see a comparison with the Hertz SX165neo.
Coming soon! Thank you for watching!
That's what I'm also waiting for.
@@volunteeraudio Been looking, not finding - was that comparison ever done?
That comparison video coming up would like to know what 6x9 are better
@@volunteeraudio I am also looking for the comparison video between the Kappas & Hertz.... any update on when it's coming out?
Wow its wild how much new motorcycle audio stuff is coming out lately!!
A lot of great options have came out, our future comparison video should help make an informed decision about which to buy and why each one would be purchased
Would love to a/b them with my current set up. May be a summer project
@@thecoreelementsmoto I’ll have all of them on display if you want to come hear them in person
Another great video, thanks. God Bless!!✌️😇
Thank you Ken! God Bess!
Interested in 4 600X speakers to add to a 6.5 GT. I have a Road glide Ultra with 4 stage 1 speakers, and the Boom Amp. Would I need to have the GT flashed again. Also would I get full range capabilities out of the 600X on the fairing speakers that only has 2 wire connectors for the speakers? The rear pod speakers connect to the Boom harness with a plug. Do these have a plug-in connector option to connect to the Boom harness?

if u use a 3ohm speaker on a 4ohm amp, wouldnt u damage the speaker easier? ive always understood that you want 4ohm on 4ohm or 2ohm on 2ohm or u use 2 ohm amp on 4 ohm speaker giving less power but safer....if i understand you correctly your saying put 3ohm speaker on 4ohm amp?
The amp changes output depending on Load from speaker, a 3ohm load will generate more power from your amp than a 4ohm load. We set our amps to max clean output using distortion detectors. The speaker does not have a different build quality when changing ohm load so not more likely to damage the speaker. The key is proper amp gain settings to not damage speakers
Are we using the crossovers that come with the infinitys for the 6.5 and 6x9s.? I just received my plu and play hertz amp from volunteer audio...I'm also using the soundstream unit .
Yes you use the crossovers
What do you recommend for crossover settings with these speakers?
They come with an included crossover
I want Infinity Kappa Perfect 600Xs in the fairing and TourPak locations plus Infinity Kappa Perfect 900Xs in my hard bag lids. What amplifier will give me the best performance from these speakers? I have a '22 Ultra Limited.
I have all Stage II speakers and amps in my Road Glide. Can I put those speakers in my bike? Thanks.
Do they make Lid Grills for the bags?
So I’m going on your word and giving these are shot! I have the hog tunes amp and speakers in the front kind of sock. I have Rockford files gauge in the tour pack. Periodically I take the tour pack off and I cannot handle the distorted tinny sound of just the front speakers. So I’m going to pop these in. My bike is a 2014 Limited I thought they were 5 1/4 speakers but everywhere I’ve looked says these will fit. Do you have any pointers on the install?
OK Jay or anybody I just received these speakers the 6.5s plan on putting them in my tour pack. So I was looking at the tour pack/lower fairing grills this is gonna sound stupid but how in the world do you put the grills on? the metal grill is over the screw holes. Help please.
The metal grill separates from its back mount, install the speaker over the plastic mount and after install the metal grill presses back on
Ok, good they do.
Compare the Hertz speakers with these.
Do the 600X have a crossover included for the tweeter? It seems weird Harman would offer a bunch of 6.5" separates for cars in the $100-$300 range that include a nice dedicated crossover module, but this model at $550 ish, doesn't have one? What protects that tweeter, just a tiny cap somewhere?
Yes it comes with an external crossover that plugs into both sets of connections on the speaker
Do you price match leading retailers? Sonic Electronics for example
We do
We are now lower priced than sonic, we are running a sale till January 1st
I have the RF sub in the bags and the RF 6x9 lid kit...the only speaker that will fit with the sub...how does the 6x9 compare in size to the RF ones???
I’m sure the infinity sound better than the Rockford speaker and use a neo magnet so mounting depth is very shallow, if you get a measurement we can check to see if it will fit
Ok thanks
Thank you for watching!
So I liked your video and what I saw so I’m going to throw these in my 2014 limited. Right now I have the hog tunes speakers and amp in the front and I switched the rear out for a Rockford Fosgate. Occasionally I take my tour pack off and I cannot handle the crappy sound of just the faring speakers. Really hoping this takes care of that for me. Do you have any tips on the install? I could’ve sworn the faring speakers were 5 1/4 but everywhere I’ve looked they say 6 1/2 will fit.
Stock are 5.25” but these 6.5” drop right in
@@volunteeraudio Thanks for the heads up I’m excited to get them should be here Thursday! I’ll be sure to let you know what I think and thanks for your quick response! Great videos definitely subscribed and liked a bunch of your stuff
@@tizmo57 thank you for watching!
i have a 2016 harley tri glide w/ boom stage 2. it sounds good, but the wife says she can barely hear it cruising down the highway. not looking to spend a lot on a whole new kit just yet. will the infinity kappa speakers work with factory head unit and the boom amp/s. until i can upgrade the amp and head unit. thanks
Yes they will
Can I just purchase the 6x9 speakers wjth out cut kits. If yes how much?

Will the rear speaker fit my Rockford fosgate setup in my bags and what is the cost

Now I'm curious... Tennessee gonna cost me 2k...
Call us at 1-844-30AUDIO if you have more questions or want to schedule and install
Thank you...I like the 4 speaker package with the Kicker lids, 6.5 and 6x9 Hertz speakers and amp. Was wondering if you'll be offering that same package with Infinity speakers instead of the Hertz. I'll ask when I call. Riding season is still 1-2 months away for me here in NY.

@@volunteeraudio Hey Folks< I did install those Infinities and They are Great! BUT NOW I have a channel that keeps cutting out (was also happening before the install. I am wondering if I could bring me Bike in and have you see if you can detect the issue. I Cant see paying Harley 130 per hour to start looking for it. I may be interested with replacing the Boom audio all together but don't know if I can justify spending
the $$ to do that. I tried to call but after being on hold said no one was available to take my call...Thanks TZ

Will these 6.5 inch speakers fit in a '12 FLHTC, with adapters?
Yes with adapters they will
So whats a good fair priced kit for a 2006 i need all the parts including wires and quick disconnect by as for speakers i do have a set on unused Polks that are marine
There are so many variables that you need to call to go over pricing and options. 1-844-30AUDIO
What amp would you recommend with 2 of the 6.5 600x in front fairings? What are the adapters needed for a 2012 Street glide?

How do they pair with the hmp4d amp...are they better sound than the spl show speaker? BTW...vids are great 👍
I hope to answer these questions in our side by side comparison video. For sure efficiency is very close but the infinity speakers are “full range” and the hertz are “loud speakers”. This means we can assume overall volume would be slightly louder with the hertz but sound more full sounding and have more bass from the infinity speakers. One of the trade offs with being louder is that you normally have a little less bass to have more loud.
Thank you for watching!
They work great with the hertz 600 watt Hmp4d amplifier
@@volunteeraudio is that enough power ? Or do the infinity speaker set up produce a better sound with higher output amplifier....running at 3ohm ...will the hertz hold up? ....
@@dennyjmnz the 3ohm comes from the voice coil of the speaker, it makes the amplifier see more load which increases power from the amplifier. Both the infinity and hertz speakers both handle power very well
Could you just replace the lid speakers on a 2019 CVO RG without out changing the amp?
You can using the American hardbag adapters and infinity 900x 6x9’s bi amped, it is not plug n play but is the only decent option without changing the amp also, we sell both parts @ 1-844-30AUDIO
I’m getting ready to order the speakers and adapter and I had a question about the cross over. The boom audio speakers have a cap on the tweeter my question is if I don’t use the included crossover do I need to purchase a cap for the new infinity tweeter speaker or do I just run them direct? Thanks
Too bad they haven’t made one for Dyna Lowrider S for fairing like plex audio or Kurkyan MTX thunder design for small bullet fairings that you can hear clear at 80 and up miles hr lol
Some things are not possible to do well
Can I put these in my boom stage 2 without taking amps out
Yes you will have use both sets of factory connectors, tweeter to tweeter and woofer to woofer
Compared these to the sx165 neo yet?
Yes, both are equally as loud and musically enjoyable to listen to, very impressed with the infinity 600x. They are slightly brighter on the high range side but have great midbass that keeps up well with the highs.
If I only buy the KAPPA PERFECT 600X front speakers, can I just take out my old ones in my 2022 Street Glide ST and put them in? straight plug and play no different amp just stock everything else.
You can and they are plug n play, they will sound clearer but you won’t gain significant volume without adding an amp also
@@volunteeraudio mainly looking for more bass from my system. Will I get that too? I know once I get a amp I’ll for sure get that.
@@Deuceiswildz you will never have an abundance of bass on a Harley from 6.5” speakers but yes it is much better than stock, but you need power to add midbass and without adding the amp they may actually sound higher pitched than factory
@@volunteeraudio sounds good!! Thank you for your reply! Subbed
One last question, what amp would you recommend if I have the 600x and 900x?
I’m happy with my CVO grills they are metal I like that especially by the tour pack. Then I get off meet up with her purse and everything. Thanks
How much are the speakers

I Just been using infinity speakers anyway on my bikes cause I didn’t wanna buy new Rob you Fossgate And all my other vehicles
Infinity makes great speakers, but they only make one series meant for motorcycles and this is it!
@@volunteeraudio it hasn’t stop me but it can only get better from here hopefully the do something for Indian motorcycles also
Too bad these are Harley dedicated speakers or I’d look into a set for my Kawasaki
Do the 6.5 come with crossovers?
Yes
Hi Jay it’s me I talk to your wife yesterday. I have a 14 CVO boom audio. I believe I only have two wires she was saying something about I might have for a while hours for the Twitter. I have the boom one. I’m thinking The speaker could be a direct replacement for what I have right now stock radio stock amp stock speakers. And then in the spring I still want to upgrade my radio with you. I know you’re very busy I should pull wire on my rear speakers to make sure it won’t go in. If these are a direct replacement and you say yes it will work good i’ll take them four of them how your wife I don’t do it online too good. Would like to talk to you I’m gonna be playing with my bike today but I think these are what she said. I’m not sure if she was talking about four wires one for the bleeder and one for the other one I don’t think I have that. I don’t know if I’m getting my point across thanks. It would help me if I can buy the speakers now and then I’ll come get the radio in the Spring. My radio speakers are beat up they do sound good but they’re cracking up I got a change three of them so far lol. Thanks I know you’re busy when you get time give me a holler. Call me back I gave you my number whatever. Sorry about yesterday I guess I called the wrong shop
Samantha is very knowledgeable , if you said boom audio she would be trying to verify which boom you have, the precision power 5x7 is our only direct replacement boom audio speaker and it only works in boom stage 1 if retaining the factory amplifier
@@volunteeraudio OK sorry I wasn’t but I only have two connections I just was thinking maybe it would work. I guess not.
@@volunteeraudio It’s just the boom one Audio period two Wires for speakers
@@mickc4633 as I said if it’s boom 1 the precision power 5x7 is a direct replacement
@@volunteeraudio well since I only have a 6 1/2 OK and no disrespect your wife whatsoever. I’m just bad online . I and I thought she was talking about having four as I seen in your videos for different collections per speaker I only have two. Sorry to be bothering you like this. Much respect for both of you. God bless
