Ditto! Not 15 min of talking about how you were walking down the street one day and saw a blue flower and that made you think of blue skies which made you think of clouds which made you call your aunt Bee and she mentioned she had some furniture she was putting on the curb and so you wanted to reupholster a chair. This one got right to the point!

My son in law had this exact same chair sitting in his garage and ask me if I wanted it he was fixing to put in trash. I can't believe I found this video of the same chair . Will make it so much easier to redo it. I will probably watch over and over.

I had wondered about lining up and centering the design on the chair. I would’ve done it. Also, why didn’t the white fabric get ironed for the bottom of the chair? Just an old seamstress with ingrained processes.

My issue is that my dining chair set from offer up that I am refinishing had a solid board screwed on at some point... so I want to replace the solid board with cane webbing as it’s much more comfortable but at the same time stapling the fabric directly to the frame seems a bit beyond my skill level, however I am going to give it a try. I suppose I could also just saw out the middle of the wooden seat board then web it and upholster it and then put it back... The other thing I really want to get is that look of sort of a domed seat cushion not just a flat square but unsure the best combination of foam to achieve that.

Only thing is the webbing and is it cardboard strips? It does t say what it is and where do you get the cardboard looking stuff amazon too? This is why I prefer verbiage as you go along and do you use a spray to hold foam on fabric and webbing or just hope it stays up and if not can I use it ? DO NOT DO THIS!! Move on to another video! This is not the way to upholster ANYTHING. She didn't put the fabric on grain, if you notice, it's crooked. Never, ever apply webbing over fabric, webbing goes on first and needs to be stretched (taut) which is done with a special tool called a stretcher, (see video on YT).
