If you are going to do a job, do it right. It would have taken just a few minutes more.
This is very helpful, thank you!!
Thanks for sharing this. Why did you use different types of webbing? Was there any reason or just because that's what you had?
Great video but instead of the music, which is not easy to listen to for that whole time, I would have liked to just hear you comment once in a while about what you are doing.
bhai machine tar name ki
The older fabric looked much more attractive, just looks like a normal chair now
You didn't center the fabric pattern on the chair?? why?
Dommage de ne pas avoir centré les motifs, le tissu est plus tendu d'un côté et en traditionnel c'est bien plus beau mais beaucoup plus difficile à faire ;-)
Chipped the wood. Taking out the staples.
The pattern isn’t lined up.
You needed a long nose gun to make it easier on you.
Phone number ta deben??

Hi! So I couldn’t tell if tacks, brads or staples were loaded into that nail gun, great video but definitely could have used some follow along commentary. Thank you!
Great job in showing how simple this process is. Could you also please list the tools used to complete this project? Thanks.
Only thing is the webbing and is it cardboard strips? It does t say what it is and where do you get the cardboard looking stuff amazon too? This is why I prefer verbiage as you go along and do you use a spray to hold foam on fabric and webbing or just hope it stays up and if not can I use it ? It looks simple but I need to hear you to explain would be better
Some parts are narrow from phone camera which could’ve been held wide wise to film so one can see better. All in all I’d feel comfortable in doing this from the video thank you 👍
Thanks for your video, I purchased 2 beautiful chairs from Goodwill for $25 each. Went to price how much to have them reupholstered. It's close to $700 so decided to try to do it myself. Hope my chairs come out as beautiful as yours. Again, thanks for sharing your video. Blessings.
Such a brutal way of doing it! You didn't even bother to use the fabric pattern and fit it symmetrical! Really amateur job. Do something else instead.
Is there any better way to do backrest... So that staple/pins don't stick out
Good step by step but don't you worry about pattern repeat or matching?
Just the guidance i needed! Beautiful
Cette méthode est à déconseiller 👎👎😡😡
Nice!
Am I the only one totally disconcerted that the back cushion just float, without moving while she stapled it? the pattern is croocket
You can also take a pea of wood glue on ur finger tip, and very carefully smooth it over the old staple holes!
This was very helpful. I'm redoing the exact same style of chair except mine has a removable seat cushion. Now I need help with how to sew the cord trim around those nooks and crannies where the arms are.
To bad your pattern is way off on back of chair ☺️
Thank you for this video!! Best upholstery one on CZcams
did you notice your fabric pattern is crooked and off-balance?
The chair looks pretty good, but next time you should center the pattern and match it so it is continuous from top to bottom.
Thats what I thought!
They probably didn't want to spend more on the fabric.
excellent
What are the strips called?
What type of material is what you put on before the cushion? It looks like bands?
Thanks a lot for this tutorial, I must have the tools first to finish a good clean product 👌👍👏
This is great! I've wrestled with wanting to reupholster an old chair for years, and your video just gave me the confidence to tackle the job. Thank you for sharing!
Great job! Thank you for the tutorial.
What a horrible way to do this
Where can I buy the foam?
At most any fabric store.
How much fabric did you use for this chair?
Am I the only one totally disconcerted that no thought was given to centering the fabric and having the seat line up with the back?
And also that they put the old dirty foam back in, instead of cutting a new piece?!?
I had wondered about lining up and centering the design on the chair. I would’ve done it. Also, why didn’t the white fabric get ironed for the bottom of the chair? Just an old seamstress with ingrained processes.
Omg and the seat is off balance! This is how NOT to upholster a chair
They did not show that the sewed down the edge on the top piece. And yes not lining up the fabrics is very amateur.
To be fair, it isn't titled How To Upholster A Chair WELL" :-D
Ewwww
What is with all the crappy......uck
beautifully done, thank you for sharing!!
Que feo tapiz escogiste.
Just gorgeous!!!
Gorgeous!
I am re doing this very chair, I picked up. I just took it apart. I was struggling with how I was going to do the top part. This was the guidance I needed. Loved what you did!
A lady wanted to charge me $200 per chair to do this..wow...
Steam the chair back cushion to freshen it. Chose a fabric without such an obvious pattern or buy enough fabric to match the chair back, front, and bottom.
