2021 Kawasaki Z400 Akrapovic Slip-on install and sound comparison.

Just a quick install and sound comparison of the Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust carbon edition for my 2021 Kawasaki Z400 vs the stock muffler. I plan on getting the header and an ECU tune after the warranty has expired. Cat tax at the end.

Yeah I did not like how the z400 sounded at all. It is so much better with the slip-on.

It is great for a first bike I have really enjoyed mine. It has as much power as you really need for the most part. The only place its really lacking is passing power at 80 MPH or higher but it can still get up to around 110 MPH.

Is it ok to replace exhaust with slip on while the bike is still new?? I have 450+ miles on my Z400. Thanks!! Ride safe!

Yes, it is safe to replace the stock muffler with a slip on at any mileage and without a tune. You really only have to worry about a tune when you are also changing the header because it is where the catalytic converter is located. They are the TechSpec Snake Skin Tank Pads from RevZilla. I like them a lot I have another motorcycle I put the TechSpec pads on because I didn't like the ones it had on it.
