As a 62-year old who has lived most of my adult life in Germany, I can't blame you for using a German recumbent trike. Now that you have traveled so many miles in China, Vietnam and other SE asian countries, I wonder if a Catrike built in Orlando, FL would have served you just as well or better than the German HP. I just ordered the Catrike Dumont.

I was at BentUpCycles yesterday and I told Kate that I came in because of your video (not sure if they are sponsoring you, yet). I wish that I could swing an HP right now but have to settle for a Performer JC70. I will get an HP when I retire in 4 years. Maybe you'll ride through Nigeria and I can join you. The people @ Industrial Bike in Dearborn MI. will see me in January because I'll be ordering my HP Velotechnik Scorpion 26 fs at that time. So Matt I'll be following you & Ryan's adventures, and hopefully meet you down the road when you roll through Detroit :-)
