Wow nice find. Never heard of this place. Will go Friday during my lunch break. Love me Neapolitan pizza. Only place I see the name is in thumbnail. Suggestion to also put in description. I wonder if that will help if anyone searches for the pizzeria name. You might get more hits.

Just got back from Amore Mia pizza. I’d have to disagree. This is not even close to Neopolitan style pizza the dough, the oven, the toppings not even close. It reminds me of Blaze Pizza. I definitely wouldn’t come out of my way to go here, but I do agree. The pepperoni rolls are amazing. One thing I did find odd is that the sauce they served with cold sauce. The basil Butter was on point. Had a conversation with the owner he’s from Columbia. Oakwood is a 8.7 this place 6.7. Prices are reasonable here, gotta give them that.
Neopolitan is not based on quality. It’s a type of pizza. Oak box is not Neapolitan. This place may not have been exactly Neapolitan but much closer than Oak Box. I was extra generous on the score because of the owner, but I pointed out the quality of the ingredients purposefully to show I was not blown away by the actual pizza.
And Oak box is not an 8.8 for their regular pizza. The sauce is too pasty for that. It’s great and worth a drive. It’s not at the level of the top North East places in NYC and NJ. It’s not like Johns, pizza Giove, Joes, or Lucalis.
@@BrooklynBrothersFoodReview correct. Neither are Neapolitan. Oakwood my fav so far in NC. Nothing by can compete with Pizza in the North.
@@ncvman It’s absolutely delicious. I have no expectations of these places being as good or better than the top places in the world. But if Oak Box was located in NYC, still top 10% pizza place that would be extremely successful. And the Gluten Free is the best we know of except for a place in Milan.
