  • As we conclude our study in the book of John, we learn Jesus had a mission when He invited His disciples to have breakfast with Him. Jesus gave Peter a chance to redeem himself and commissioned the disciples to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.
This teaching is from our series 43 John - 2016 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

I'm a pastor. Just prayer to be a faithful Shepherd to the people God's called me to. It a small church and I wear lots of hats. So it's overwhelming at times, specially in these strange times. God bless.

Yes! I know disobedience held me back previously. Doing it MY way. Obedience is the only way. Like you John, when I'm unsure of anything else, I KNOW my Lord loves me.

I liked how this chapter was discussed so clearly. But, may I add why Peter had to wear his robe, despite it’s heavy as you said, but I think it’s customary to be clothed in front of ones teacher, especially in front of the Lord. It’s a show of respect despite the fact that it might be heavy and discomfort for Peter.

This is incorrect teaching. The story is the right side of your brain. The spirit side. The number of fish adds to 9 which is the ancient number for consciousness. This is an age old way of saying meditate. Good grief Christians are weird.
