Raz, I sincerely apologize, I have not been supporting you for long. I had no idea about your channel until the collaboration with Kevin Talbot. I love the details you explain. I am a basher from 1/28th scale to 1/5th scale but, as a mechanical journeyman in a manufacturing facility I love seeing what you do to control DC motors. Thank you for the technical information. I love the aspect of the hobby where everyone can learn something no matter how large or small from other fans of the RC hobby even if we are not doing the same thing. You have gained a fan for life. For a nerd like me your overly technical videos are really great content but I could see why it may not appeal to some. Paired with Talbot's laid back "whatever man just send it" attitude you two are entertaining to watch. Coming from a long family of 1:1 racers, your preparation, the spares, the late nights, the technical info, constant upkeep reminds me very much of what seperates winning teams on the bigger scales. You really hit the nail on the head with your comment (paraphrased) "I'm just going to let go of my obsessions for a minute, and enjoy the event." Deep.
I’m happy that you just let go and enjoyed the experience. Feel blessed of your achievements and enjoy that this event may be the only time they can get full throttle.
I think the car you had, "the world's most advanced RC car", with the motors as the wheels, is the car to achieve the record. I honestly think that it will hit 250+!
Damn!! Ultimate speed run event! I am blown away by your knowledge. Weather temperatures, sea levels, surface grips, and car set ups = estimated/calculated mph. You're on another level Raz. Great video & I'll watch Kev's 40 ROSSA video later today! 183-185mph was fantastic without breakages AND given weather/tarmac conditions. 203mph (and counting) is on horizon! Love your attitude too! Letting frustration go and enjoying the event is what this hobby is all about! Well done sir

Why not simply slap an ice pack in there under the body? It’s a trick that works on race motorcycles in the high desert heat, if the rider needs 1 good lap to qualify, an ice pack on top of his intake and another on top of the ecu (esc essentially). You can’t make a habit of it, but it gets you 1 good lap. Cheers! Fantastic co-lab! Dare I say the best of 2022!
