Nice to see Jethro back on Evo
I came here looking for this comment.
it would be cool if all those who made eCOTY 2013 returned
@@AleksandrHalas that was my favourite ECOTY in terms of the CZcams production. Absolutely magnificent.
I had to double check to make sure this wasn't a 7 year old video showing up in my recommendations. Jethro at Evo reviewing a Huracan, from 2021 really?
Yes it is, good guy 👍🏻👍🏻
What a nice surprise to see Jethro back on Evo.
Jethro ist just the best! He really digs deep into the character of the car rather than reading the stats and concluding them in the drive
The best alongside Harris and Catchpole
Edit: Forgot about Dickie Meaden, he is also up there
@@KensAlpaca forgot about Dickie
So happy Jethro is back! Missed him. What a fantastic car too. That sound alone would make me pay whatever Lamborghini charges. No turbos and a sonorous NA V10. Brillant!
Yup, and apparently it’s all hybrid Lambos in a few years…
Jethro's back. Normal service has resumed.
So great to see Jethro again.
Jethro we need more reviews from you, please
Been a fan of Jethro since he was trying to get his M3 below 8 minutes at the Nurburgring. Love watching him hoon this amazing Lambo around this incredible track.
The STO is gorgeous and best looking modern Lambo. And motortrend was dead after they ditched YT, big mistake. Glad to see Jethro back on YT.
We need Jethro with Chris presenting Top Gear. Just those two. Forget family entertainment, we just want stuff like this!
JETHRO!!
Man i waited for some content from you so much. Please make more videos. I had "saudade" for old EVO videos
Anybody else here really glad to see Jethro back on Evo??
Best STO review thus far by one of best YT automotive journalists. Thank you, Jethro!
Jethro is back 👍🏼. Just reminded me of your last GT3 991 review. Best car of the year.
That Lamborghini sound, that´s what makes it a true Italian supercar ❤️😍
Yep that looks like fun and it sounds perfectly crisp with no popping and banging and no turbos.
Lambo has made the Huracan into a gnarly carbon track fiend.
Gonna be sweet seeing Shmee in his pink one at the ‘Ring 👍
A new Evo video. Once a year miracle.
Great to see Jethro back!!
Jethro is back since I've seen him drag racing in MotorTrend
Always loved the Huracan. The STO definitely delivered
It is just so surprised and pleased to watch another Bovingdon test on proper sport car, such a pleasure to see how he controls that test car and explain in details how it is.
Fuck yes, back to the good old days Evo 😍😍😍
Rip headphone users when it cuts to the beauty shots
Jethro!!!!! So nice to see him back.
Jethro's back yay....
Yes Jethro!
Yay!!! Welcome back Jethro!!
Great to see Jethro back!
Jethro! Jethro! Jethro!
Jethro is back!
Looks astonishing. Thanks.
What a surprise. Nice to have him back to business
good to see Jethro on Evo....dont be a stranger lol
great vid
Damn.. Jethro is BACK 🔥🔥💥
he´s back
Big RESPECT Jethro Bovingdon for wonderful review!!!
If I won hyundai i 20 n in your competition, I would like Jethro to present the prize
Good luck!
If I want to really know how a car drives, Jethro is right near the top.
Jethro back from the paywall world of Motortrend.
I love it, such a beautiful machine. I love the sharper lines too.
Jethro doing tandems in a lamborghini with a lamborghini lmao
Good to see Jethro back at ‘home’ 😉!
Welcome back jethro!
Yes! A proper EVO review and Jethro too! We are spolied. It feels like it's been years and years. Is EVO back? or was this just a blip? Fingers crossed.
Is Jethro not working for motor trend now ?
Love cars like this that gives so much more than its numbers. That chase for max power and speed is over, now its all about the emotion of driving, squeezing the most out of the last combustion cars to be made before its all electric...
Does this guy use the ALA system? The wing struts don't seem to have enough size for the volume required.
car looks epic on track. Much fun.
Good ol Jethro
Did anyone else notice that weird resonance through the chassis when you let off the throttle from high rpms?
Jethro ! 🙌
Good to see Jethro back at the Wheel of an Evo review. I thought he'd defected to the USA?
Mr. Bovingdon, welcome back!
How does this compare to the performante on track? More predictable than than the performante?
Yay Jethro👏
JETHROOOOOOO
Yay Jethro~!!!
wish jethro did all the evo reviews. jethro can you go back and review the pista?
A front end shunt will be expensive in this thing. Or even if you clip the splitter.
Whaaat? Jethro....thought this was Drive for a moment
Love love
Now Imagine if you put 2 turbos and an AWD system in it like a particular Shop is doing...Chef's kiss*
What a car
cool lambo sto
Seems to be 600LT level not 675LT level when tested on Hockenheim. Might be tires though.
Sounds as good as it looks.
Really wish they made it a 670-2 or something like that but I suppose their excuse was that it's lighter than the Performante so it's still faster. I ordered one either way. Although I'll likely be going to VFE when mine comes in...
For me there could be 3 primary STO improvements:
1. A stronger rear differential to take the torque
2. 650PS/641HP(125PS per litre) and 610NM/450ft.lbs
3. 265/35r20 on 9.5's and 325/30r20 on 12's
4.Sharing a 65 degree block with a V12 instead of a 90° block from a V8(idealisticlly 72°, but the Huracan is the more affordable model. A 90° V10 fires at 90° and 54°, the same as a Dodge Viper). 100mm bore spacing instead of 90mm(but a 11mm shorter deck height); a 94mm bore and a 79.25mm stroke for a 5499.8cc displacement(maximum for A naturally aspirated engine in WEC/IMSA). 690PS/680HP(125PS per litre) and 650Nm/479ft.lbs, a 9000rpm rpm limit. I realize this decision would have had to be made 15 years ago, but still a relevent factor(along with the first 3 in the list) in how the STO stacks up in comparison to it's contemporary competition in the future once poeple have had time to digest this era of sports/super cars.
I agree they should have upped the power
jethro!
If a car gets Jethro in the feels like that you know it's worth selling a kidney for. If you were that concerned about being down on ponies than a 765LT I'm sure VF Engineering will soon sort that out for you.
Sooo is jethro out of motortrend?
Whilst other car manufacturers are going for the highest speeds, quickest 0-60, or 1/4 mile times via turbo charging, Lamborghini goes for the passion of the drive. Please keep building naturally aspirated engines! I'd take sound and feel any day over a split second faster car.
nice
STO Spyder ?
💪🏽🔥
Dream Car Status
Imagine a last hurrah to this engine/platform with a gated manual. It won’t happen, but god I wish I would
I would pay $100K premium for one. Seriously.
STO should wear trofeo R
Say " It's like the GT cars" one more time. we didnt catch it the last 4 times. J/K. great review though. Keep up the good work
This article keeps popping up and its 3 months ago that it was posted, what's going on?
If I had the money, I'd rather have the new 911 GT3 with a manual. Thanks.
Totally agree, couldn't care less if its "only" 630bhp lol.
Prime EVO: Jethro & Henry
Jethro’s name really should be in the video title…just sayin’
JETHRO AT EVO?!? IS THIS A THING AGAIN?
Isn't something falling off the car at 6:44 ?
8:40 so true. I stopped caring about figures years ago. If the car is a pleasure to drive, its a great car. All this stupid numbers do not matter at all if you are perfectly honest.
Great video and car - can't wait for VF Engineering to get one...
They already have one! I'm bringing my STO to them when it comes in next year.
Now if they only made it in manual
Can i ask your height?,im 6ft tall (183cm),i want to know if i could fit in the huracan sto
You will fit and fit with a helmet on as well. I'm 6'2" and can just fit with a helmet.
@@slobdog21 ohh ok ok,’coz I thought tall people like me wouldn’t fit in a supercar specially it’s a huracan
The convertible is a different story however! Seat space was lost to the top that folds behind it.
@@slobdog21 just to note I have evo spyder (sto incoming) however my evo was spec’s with the carbon sport seats... they sit so low and so far back (night and day difference from previous huracan) where I couldn’t fit in or drive it at 6’3 now I fit in my evo vert no problem (helmet diff story, negative on helmet and convertible)
I always struggle to fit my helmet in ....
Il take this or a gt3 over any of the more powerful turbo supercars every day.
Ha ha is that the new Hyundai Huracan N in Hyundai performance blue?
Nice looks. I will buy this car because of its looks and handling but this car is still a failure to me when it comes to its speed and racing circuit performance and not breaking the nurburgring record.
Lamborghini doing what Ferrari couldn’t
In what world are we living where a 640hp V10 "doesn't do the headline figures"....?! On a real road there is no way you'd ever need more
For a "track" car, it's a shame it's so slow. Around track, it's slower than even a 911 GT3 (without the RS).
Most people that actually track their cars don’t care that much about lap times. The balance, feel, and emotion are the reasons to do track days. NA V10 is glorious.
#first
Not that fast, not so powerful, even a bit sluggish... but so surprisingly good in cornering, u even feel comfortable.
So Vallelunga.
Have you driven it
@@lovelehstuff Many times but only @ Le Mans with no chicanes. I'm not buying these expensive toys, just trying when opportunity is given : that is every day on AC. He's right : they added something very special that makes you like turning, with control & without fear. A lot of downforce & a breaking level & stability coming from heaven. Hope you can try it too on a real racing track David.

Guys, you let this channel languish. Please please try and play catch up and recapture the spirit of what is, for most, the leading reporter in the supercar sphere......... and has been for a very long time. The days of looking forward to a printed magazine dropping through the letterbox now needs to be transplanted into the digital realm, before it's too late.
what the fuck is the point of 420kg of downforce at 174? even in that thing you're not taking any corners at 174
