Lol, I'm rewatching Yu-Gi-Oh and I wish there were more fanfiction like that. Unfortunately theres not actually that many with Noah. I am reading an ongoing one that has him in it though. It's a fanfiction where the characters react the abridged series (YGOTAS reactions). Noah gets brought in at some point since he's assumed to be alive in the dub like you said. It develops an actual plot too. Theres another one I want to read eventually but has too many chapters for me to read right now. I also want to write my own fanfiction that's after this arc but it would only be a one shot and have Noah just mentioned.
If Duel Links ever creates a "Filler World" for the anime-exclusive characters from Duel Monsters given its the only franchise that follows the manga version of its series, Noah's inclusion would definitely have to play this up where either Noah is either dead and is visiting from the afterlife, or Noah did manage to back up his existence and ended up in Duel Links after all this time, but nobody really cares since... it's the Filler World and all the characters in Filler World have effectively been forgotten by the rest of the universe. Should be noted there is a grander plot going on ever since they added ZEXAL and ARC-V to the game. ZEXAL's was bog standard (the Number Cards are back to the confusion of Yuma and Astral, who know they completed their mission, except their "fake" Numbers, but not fake like the Barian Numbers Don Thousand created) but ARC-V implies heavily that characters are being plopped down from whenever in the timeline, which terrifies Yuya because he still remembers Supreme King Z-ARC, knows Riley Akaba is in no condition to stop Z-ARC, and is scared that Duel Links will bring back Z-ARC. After all, the Supreme King Jaden was unleashed, and that was a living hell for everyone involved.

Kinda like themes of death and suffering frequently appearing through Yu-Gi-Oh being fine in the original, but cut in America because they don't think it fits with what they think children should watch. I've always wanted to see Noah against Marik .... I don't know why. Also, I wouldn't consider his battle against Seto a win for Noah since that battle never ended, Yugi simply resumed the battle after Noah turned Seto and Mokuba to stone with neither Noah or Seto reaching a complete 0 LP.

Honestly, the whole thing about his and his father's plan in the dub was much better than the original version as given how the Kaiba family is shown to be, wanting to destroy the world and rule the small portion left makes less sense than forcibly virtualizing everyone and ruling over everyone as God-Emperors. Also, despite all the crap with his Deck Master Shinato's abilities, Noah's deck is pretty impressive, being pretty much a sort of abridged history lesson of the eras of humanity. Also, in hindsight some of his spirit monsters such as Yatagarasu and Tsukiyomi have gained some infamy in the competitive scene.
Noah's turn to the good side practically gave me whiplash it was so sudden. I know they tried to set up a connection with Mokuba but could have been done way better

I genuinely feel bad for him BUT here's where I defend Gozuboro. If you watch you'll see that Gozoburo was triggered when Noah modified the dogs head into a demon. Gozoburo was just a businessman let down by his son. However, Noah has his demons...its hard to say. And many of kaibas enemies have legitimate gripes.

Yugi took over the Duel when Kaiba had 400 life points left, and a stone “body.” The only reason that Kaiba “lost” was because Noah decided to be a snot-nosed spoiled son of a bitch macho egomaniac (whoo, glad I got that out of me) and turn Kaiba and Mokuba to stone, so really if you get all nitty-gritty, Noah never won.
