Agree, except for Poland. The choreography was really not that good, and did the song actually required the dance break, or they added it so they could get “dance break” votes?
@@mgolas4643 obviously they added it for the votes. They knew they had a floppy song so adding a dancebreak could help it a little bit. thats how they got 19th place

@@arseniy you probably dont remember her gasping at the end of the perfomance due to big effort of singing live at performance at same time without break her voice or tone. That was an extraordinary moment . She is a diva and great performer.
@@zangangi It's hard to sing and dance the same time. She decided towards dancing. Maybe she can sing great if she's not dancing. I didn't checked. I told only about the EV performance.
@@arseniy exactly what I mean its that make her even more talented cause not many can do It at the same time with so good vocals , so imagine if she is not dancing the voice control she can do if she does that moving, dancing. That provides her a special skill, she trained cardio exercises just for this matter. Objectively we have to see she is one in a million, in many aspects.

@@alterego5824No, The difference between moving virtuously and dancing is infinite. Chanel's "dancing" art, smooth as oil, her acting, her magnetism... is literally from another world. That is not trained, she was born with it.

I agree, Chanel's movements are kinda just on a different tier from everyone else here. No shade to the other performers theirs are still good, it's more a testament to Chanel. Also I think the choreo for the dance break for Unicorn not as clean as Slo-mo too. Granted it's by Kyle Hanagami so.. hard to compete there.

Actually dance routines started with Sertab who represented Turkey in 2003. She wasn't doing dancebreak but she started a HISTORY! After a year, Ruslana came with an amazing dance song. She was dancing all the time. Then Helena appeared and these women are the queens of dance pop songs. Kalomira made another history and she added dancebreak to this dance pop songs(except armenia this year lol)
That's why we need Turkey in Eurovision.

To all the Chanel fanatics, I think this video is the perfect proof she didn't invent the concept of dancebreak. All of them are amazing in their own way and styles, but of course, if we really want to compare, I think the best and most spectacular dancebreaks were Chanel's and Noa's. You can have a dancebreak anytime during a song, btw, no matter if it's at the beginning, in the middle or at the end. I really want to see another pop girlie next year!
The problem is that you don't understand the meaning of the word dance. If we wanted something impressive, we would put someone out of the "circus of the sun" giving mortals. Dancing means communicating, feeling, acting, flowing, giving. And chanel shines in it like a star.

As a dancer myself, a dance break can be in the end. A dance break is usually mostly instrumental (so less vocals) Singing while doing a dance break does not mean that the techniques are better. If you sing while dancing I’m pretty sure you have to keep certain parts of your body stiff to keep your vocals stable.

Exactly what I wrote few minutes ago, there is no rule that says you have to keep singing after you danced, stop inventing pathetic stuff just for likes...
Dancing like carzy after performing like crazy is also extremely hard, there are singers who can't do even that. Besides, her dancing was extremely hard. It was a smart choice to leave it to the end, and I'm sure in the future we'll see more countries doing exactly that
