    Lisa I’m cooking ribs tonight for the third time since watching your video. Each time adding more of the applewood seasoning. I’m not “heavy-handed” with it, figuring I can always add more if not enough, but can’t take away if too much. Also been using a bourbon whiskey sauce at the end.
    Having read many of the comments here, please allow me to say, the packaging around the natural pork back ribs I’m cooking expressly states that, “Ribs are more tender cooked to about
    195°F. “ Can I just drop the mic right there on your behalf? And from head high, too. No waist high drop, a full on head high mic drop and not even lookin’ back as I walk off. The palm of my hand is facing to the side too, in case anyone wants to say anything... they can talk to the hand. Man street talk is fun.
    Sending this with love and praise for what you’re doing in town. Proud of you Lisa.

    Looks delicious. Your Aunt Ruth is wonderful 🌞 Bet she will be sorry to see you leave. Still on furlough? I can't believe how fast COVID cases are increasing here in AZ. Went to the dentist today and I was the only one of four people in the waiting room with a mask on. Our county mandated them but it's not really being enforced. I raised heck with my dentist. At least at my allergist office they told the one person that came in without a mask to wait outside and they would call her when her injection was ready. She also had to hold a tissue over her mouth and nose while getting her injection. I was happy with that. Take care. Can't wait to see what Ruth has you cook next for her 😺🌞

      @@pressurecrisp I don't know if there is a name for the soup that uses ribs...I can tell you some of the stuff that the wife uses. First, cut up the ribs then brown them then throw them into a big pot. She uses three batches of Rapini, cuts up Daikon, crushed up piece of Ginger, dried Mushrooms...a Japanese brand that at Smith's, some kind of green gourd plant that I don't know what it is...sometimes she uses acorn squash or one of those small pumpkins that you find in produce that I don't the name. As far as seasoning, I think just salt and pepper. Just throw all of that in a big pot add the water and boil till everything is tender. When it is ready I get me a big bowl and get me two pieces of ribs that the meat just falls off the bones...put a lot of Rapini and a lot of mushrooms and add little bits of all that other stuff in the bowl. I save the ribs last to eat...I eat everything else first and before I eat the ribs....I slurp all of the juice that taste good and is probably healthy for you. I love ribs I have a grill but in winter or if I'm having back issues and can't grill this maybe a good option no way as good as on a grill but they look to be the right tenderness I saw the bite mark and that's what you want if you can't slice them then you've overcooked them, I see videos where they are falling apart and can't be sliced that's over cooked, I've been grilling and BBQing for 40 years but sometimes I can't use my grill getting old.

    Texan here and 3 different rubs (3 cuts so seeing what's best), 1 GM mesquite, BBQ, a pit boss pulled pork rub, and we're going to use original and I think we have mesquite or another savory type stubbs.

    Is it important to add water? What is you don't add anything in there. Is that ok?

      I think the moisture keeps the ribs moist- But you can cook without the water-thanks!

    Lisa do you have to turn the ribs other than to sauce them?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Frank, No you really don't have to turn them-I do it if the basket is crowded and if thy start. to get little too dark. Thanks!

      @@pressurecrisp thanks Lisa! Another commenter said they liked how you roasted your ribs at 300°. It prompted me to read a number of air fryer rib recipes and sure enough, yours is the only one cooking them that low in the air fryer.
      Your Aunt Ruthie’s reaction to the flavor was an excellent testament. I had to laugh, she didn’t want to figure out if she could taste the sauce and seasoning separately, she just wanted to eat!! Btw, cute shorts! 😉

      @@pressurecrisp Lisa I saw that you guys got dumped on big time! Man that’s a lot of snow. I’m in central Ohio and usually don’t get that much all winter. I hope you have someone to clear your driveway for you. You have videos to produce missy, you don’t have time to shovel snow! 🎅🏼
