Please don't bite my head off but you'd be better off patting down the ribs w a paper towel because when you blast them with water like that, the water splatters all over the place leaving bacteria everywhere. Also, you need to remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
This. The washing is unnecessary and that sink prolly has more bacteria than what is percieved in the juices of the bag. Other than that and the membrane note it looks good and Ill look to try.. i just discovered short ribs in the foodi are awesome, ill look to do the full rack next.
I just made this ribs recipe for dinner tonight and they were absolutely out of this world, and the best ribs I’ve ever made in my life!!! My family was in heaven! I love my Ninja Foodie! Thank you so much for posting your special recipe, it’s a hit! 👏👏👏💕
I just used your recipe and they were the best ribs that I ever made, Thank You!!! We agree on the best BBQ sauce. You made the video very easy to follow, I very recently bought a Ninja Foodi and I needed you instructions!
Thank you for showing how to make your delicious ribs , step by step. I don’t have a Ninja Foodie , but do have a pressure cooker. I think I would love the Ninja and could use the crisping feature .
I’m cooking these right now but I used a Bottle of Budweiser instead of the Dr. Pepper and of course I used Sweet Baby Ray’s but with Hickory & Brown sugar. I’ll let you know how they turned out. I’m so excited! YES, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS RECIPE! Well Nick, Let me tell you this, they were soo good and I learned a few things about what NOT TO DO, the next time I make them because there will be a next time that’s for sure. These were some really big ribs with lots of meat on them, which I had placed up at the top of the foodie during the last part and they got charred. I blame myself for that but I’m new to this FOODIE thing and will know better the next time and will put them bone side up on the air fry part the next time I make them and I will tenderize them a bit before, as well. Happy Campers😊
They look awesome, yum. Great job, great video. Thank you. Oh, and I was going to mention the same thing, before you cut the pieces, that a piece of dry paper towel and rip off the membrane. Less chewy, and tough. It’s a bit hard to yank off but if you use the towel, it’s not so bad. Then do the rest that you did. They look really good.
Hello Nick, I am making ribs right now. Using your instructions thanks for sharing about putting liquid in bottom of pressure cooker. I got me some sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Side of Mac and cheese, cream spinach. Smells good in my home. Thank you Nick
Hi Nick, You forgot to rip off the membrane on the rib side which I did. That is a must for absorption of the flavors. Anyway mine were absolutely delicious. I even had purchased the same brand of ribs as yours (Smithfield) before I even saw your CZcams post. Just remember, rip off the membrane covering the rib side first next time. It just pulls off easily when you start by grabbing it from the end with a paper towel. Instead of the water added to the Dr. Pepper I used 1/4 cup liquid smoke. Thanks for your post. Tom in Ft. Lauderdale

Beautifully done!!! I like my ribs with a chew & a bite to it (not a fan of fall of the bone ribs) so when it's pressure cooked it gets extremely tender (in my opinion) so I leave the membrane on to keep it in tact, gives you a cleaner cut, & more of a pull. 👍🥩🍻

I need to try apple juice, that sounds like it would go really well with it. I was really surprised how easy they are to make in the Foodi. I've taken it over from my wife to cook ribs all the time lol.
The membrane on the back side really needs to be removed. It will help make the spices on the back side go into the meat rather than sitting on the membrane and it will help to make the ribs more tender.

This may be a dumb question. But do you air fry them with the liquid from when you pressure cooked them or do you drain that liquid?
You can keep the liquid in during the entire process, only draining for cleanup.
@@nickk36 thank you! Making these for dinner tomorrow 😋
I noticed that you didn't trim the membrane fat off the back of the ribs. Is there a reason for this or just a matter of personal choice?

Nope, keep in while you crisp. Don't drain until you're cleaning up.

Do you use special brown sugar or why is it so sticky? In Germany we only have unsticky brown sugar
It's brown sugar, which is sugar and molasses.
