    It looks good. It would have been more helpful and informative if you sliced the steak so we would see the doneness you achieved with fourteen minutes so depending on how we like or steaks individually we could adjust the cooking time accordingly.

    It looks like a really good recipe. But here in N.Y. across the whole state. They are usually served Bone-in because that bone Maro adds such richness to the dish. It's kind of like bone-in Pork chops... That's probably why everybody buys Stock instead of Broth. It's less Labor Intensive & our local restaurants don't cook the way we used to.

      ive just bought the 14 in 1 today, and cooked 2 sirloins in it. I had it on 200c Air Fry mode and it was seared about 85%, there was a few "flavour patches" but not equal to pan fried however perfectly edible and very enjoyable. I am very surprised and impressed.
      No burnt oil smell in the house, no oil splattering out of the pan going everywhere, no tongs dripping oil when flipping it over and the kitchen remained cool with no smoke or condensation... I'm very happy

    This was great. Ya know, you got the Foodi down. No more having to bake taters in my conventional oven while I broil the steaks! Not to take anything away from you but what a machine. Imma so inspired to utilize it's capabilities! Thank you.

    Good show, but how did it look inside the meat itself? Is it rare, medium rare or well done?

      One of my earlier videos and I forgot to cut it. It was cooked to medium. Just past no pink.

    Second time doing this for Christmas Day, just two of us at home for lockdown.
    Thank you and please do more of these!
    Wish**Lamb (fresh) with nice clean bones, browned in oil, balsamic and fresh herbs.
    Same potato method, no idea how long. Usually in oven in roasting pan and crisp up root veggies on a roasting tray and baste lamb until temp check shows slightly med rare, then rest to get the true doneness.

    Just got a 3 in 1 Foodi at Costco for $129 on sale. Still not sure about it??? Air fried some vegetable rolls and won tons and it was easy probably save me fifteen minutes from doing it in the oven. I'll ry a steak but I don't think it will beat grilling it outside but might be good in a pinch or a rainy day and healthier then frying.

      Search for "steak" on my channel. I have lots of videos to help you make the perfect steak. If you REALLY miss the grill just add a touch of liquid smoke to your steaks. I really like using the Grillgrate Sear'n Sizzle. Search for that too on my channel.(No....they do NOT sponsor me)

      Hope you enjoy it! I filmed that with an old camera and terrible lighting. I did overcook the broccoli but trust me it wasn't grey. Just bad lighting . Check out some of my newer videos. All new equipment. Thank you for watching!

    What temp do you like your steak? I don’t want any more than medium

    • @ScottCooks
      @ScottCooks  Před 3 lety +1

      Depends on cut of meat but I often pull it from the heat at 145 and let rest 5 minutes. So 150 ish
