Btw they didn’t drop out of school if anything education is really important to them. Jin even graduated college in 2016. Jimin and RM did good in school w/ A honor roll. RM is basically a genius IQ-148. Besides Jungkook having to miss a lot of days of school because he had to keep up with the group too, he still maintained his grades and graduated in 2016.

One of my really close friends is from Korea and she says that being touchy with each other like that for men is just part of the culture. Like, you see two high school boys walking down the street holding hands it doesn’t mean that they are gay, just that they are good friends. Not that there is anything wrong if they were gay.

When they were reacting to part of yoongi's mixtape, I admired how he recognized that it is not easy to convey such a strong message in a song about a serious topic, without it being poorly worded. I honestly think it's because homosexuality is SO taboo, people can be super touchy without being accused of being homosexual since it's literally just not on the radar of "possibility," if that makes any sense. So no one is going to say, "oh that person must be gay because they're super touchy" or whatever, because homosexuality is considered so abnormal. Things are changing more now ofc (there was recently a Pride rally in Seoul), but generally speaking, I believe that's how the culture is. I've been to Korea multiple times but am by NO MEANS an expert (plus I identify as straight), so this is just my opinion!

jin's lawsuit joke is a play on korean words. cow in korean is pronouced "so" and he added the english word "song" and if you combine these two, you'll have "sosong" which is lawsuit.
most of his gags are like korean-english combinations and i also get confused at first (i just laugh because of his laugh lol) but when you actually hear more of it, you'll get the hang of it.

This is one of the best BTS reactions I've seen. They're so sweet and respectful and seem to have extremely genuine reactions (you know what I mean, those people who react for clout since they know BTS videos get many views). And butternut.
This is honestly one of my favorite reaction videos I've seen in a while. You guys don't excessively talk (over the video), you pay attention to the video, you seem to appreciate the video, etc. and actually seem like super genuine and funny people.
BTS came from a small company, they started with nothing.
Jin who was casted just because if his looks,
Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to do,
Namjoon who was never supported by his parents,
Jimin who thought of himself as ugly and fat,
Taehyung whose always been a part of BTS but was never shown any promotions- not until they debut
Hoeseok who seemed to always laugh, but never felt as an accomplishment to his father,
And Junkook who was very shy and has saved his parents at a young age by auditioning into companies.
Remember the days when they were struggling?
They even have to sacrifice and work hard just so they could eat?
They are squeezing themselves into one small apartment and have to take responsibilities- the reason why they wrote the sing 'Move'
Those times when him in had yo starve himself just because people called him fat and ugly.
That one interview when Yoongi says; it was nice that people listen to their music because Taehyung and Junkook are good looking.
And he thought that it was at least enough. Do you remember when Hoeseok was supposed to be the vocalist and Taehyung was supposed to be the rapper, but he chose to be rap instead and learn it since Taehyung wanted to be a vocalist.
It was Raegyumgs dream and Hoeseok loves his dongsaeng that much he would sacrifice
Other canvases were accusing then of playgurism just because they had the smallest detail whose the same with another big K-pop group which is actually just a coincidence. The was a time when Yoongi packed 300 gifts and letters just to give to their 300 fans who will attend at their mini fan meetings.

Did you know that Jin auditioned to make his mother proud of so she would have something to brag about to those judgemental neighbors they have. He worked hard on his vocals yet people called him talentless.
Did you know that Namjoon worked to produce songs, yet there was a time his mom ruined his computer and broke his mic so that he could focus on studying?
Did you know that Hoeseok auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him?
Because he felt like he was a disappointment?
Those rookie days where they only listen to the awardings and be amazed by their seniors.
They can't do anything but watch those idols revive their awards.
The days when they are happy with just 300 views on CZcams, mini fan gatherings little followers and one daesang award.
They are content.
Now they've reached the top and became more successful, from 150 fans to 6M and counting, from a small practise room to a bigger one, from a cramped dorm with roommates, to a big dorm with each of them having their own room, from one award on daesang, to MANY more and even winning the BBMAs
BTS never expected this before their fouryh yaer anniversary, they've come so far- so far that the only chance we have to meet them is by going to there concerts or seeing then on the streets, which there is like a 0.00001% chance of happening.
But really ARMYs!! We've cone this far Can, let's live them and support then till the end!

Dude in the cap is gonna be so confused when he finds out bts have a whole alternate universe with concrete and established stories of their youth as kids who got together as friends and their troubles along the way. All their music videos from 2015 and onwards link back to the alternate world bts created with bts members playing characters in that universe. They’re probably the first kpop group to establish an alternate world where there’s theories and concepts that feed into their storylines. I would recommend watching bts highlight reels which started off from their love yourself: her era

29:20 I'm glad you brought up the touching aspect. I'm Asian who grew up in America and no exposure to Asian entertainment until my older sister got me into Kpop. I learned that it's actually common for the same sex to be physically close with each other --- hugs, rubs etc. and I remember being confused and questioned. It turns out physical affection is normal in Asian communities between close friends. It's like how some European countries consider kisses as greeting whereas Americans would consider that weird.
The excessive touching is mostly cultural differences. I really love how open minded you all are despite not knowing that. I wish most guys were like yall. Btw bts were able to attend jungkook’s middle school graduation because even though bts debuted since jungkook was 15, jungkook had already been training with the members since he was around 13-14. In Korea you’re also 14 when you graduate middle school just like the US. Also bts were flopping until jungkook was around 18 so unfortunately he didn’t get much clout in his younger days :(
Also I am someone who’s known bts from 2013 (their debut) and honestly watching them grow is just as or even more overwhelming than you guys can imagine. It’s drives me crazy sometimes when I think about what they used to be and how I used to see them. Like I was not expecting ANY of this. I have watched many Reaction vlogs and I have to say that I have enjoyed yours the most. As for a BTS fan, I am a 61yo grandmother and great grandmother. I was introduced to BTS by my daughter and my 11yo granddaughter. My daughter is heading to CA with 4 friends to see BTS perform in Oakland. Bias? Oh yes, it is Namjoon (RM) and Bias wrecker is V.

i don't know if anyone will see this but this is the very first video of bts i watched (aside from maybe 1 or 2 MVs from the past), i watched this reaction guide because i had no one else to watch a guide with. after watching this guide with y'all, i went on to watch more and more videos until i officially became an army. so yeah, when your title said 'creating armys' y'all ain't wrong! this video might've been the reason i fell down deeper in the rabbit hole. no regrets tho, i love it here!!! 💜

I'm so glad you touched on how BTS are comfortable touching each other. The technical word for it is "skinship" and it's common between same-sex friends in Korea, both guys and girls. I really appreciate that it got such an endorsement among you guys! I think so many in our western culture are suffering from a lack of affectionate, non-sexual touch. As far as 'get in touch with your feminine side' I would go so far as to say that (to a certain extent) it's not even a 'feminine' side. It's just an 'affectionate' side. We all need it.
Schooling: they all finished. Jin graduated from college this past spring, and will begin graduate school in the fall. Dang.
That live performance clip at the beginning of Jungkook's segment: YES. You must watch it. That was at the MAMAs if I recall. I can never get enough of that part because I can't help but look to the right of Jungkook and watch V. His body rolls...damnit, he bias wrecked me again.
Jungkook: they are so not kidding that he's good at Every. Thing. You're question about "GCF" - yes, that's him. He's not just editing. He did it all, from filming to release. (All of these guys have so much passion, hard work, and creativity coming out of every pore it's ridiculous.) He's 20 now, which is why he didn't drink alcohol with the guys after the BBMAs. Their 'after party' of choice was to eat in a room together and stream live their reactions with Army, instead of accepting any of the invitations to go out to the others. He can drink in Korea, but he respected our laws while he was here and toasted alongside the others with a coke.
I predict that they will come to love all seven members, but eventually each one will have a bias. Mine is Jimin and his dancing just transports me to an alternate universe. He's the one who had so much air time at the very end. It was a lot of fun watching you take the new guys further down the rabbit hole of BTS.

Hi guys!AR I love this reaction so much, you are respectful and truly interested, there is a little misunderstanding, RM is one of the main lyricists in BTS and he helped V to compose 4 o'clock, that song is performed by V not RM, what V said is that he wanted to have her own song after he saw RM, Suga and J-hope perfoming their own songs on stage.
Something interesting is that as you saw J-hope is the last one to join the rap line, it was thought for be to do it while Jhope would be in the singers line, but because V wanted to be part of the singing line J-hope trained for the rap line, and it turns to be that he is super gifted.

that intro song is "attack on bangtan" and it's such a bop! it's actually the first song that i've heard from bts and also song that got me into them!! also tae didn't give rm 4 o'clock, tae wanted to make his own song that he could perform himself, so he asked rm to help him and rm composed it and helped tae write the lyrics to 4 o'clock but they perform it together. and that performance during jungkook's part is Mic Drop remix at the 2017 MAMAs and it's hella dope because they performed cypher 4 right before and then added like 4 dance breaks in the song. butternut :))
you see, jungkook went to a school for celebrities and kpop trainees, ect. they were taught science math and etc. and also took classes such as singing dancing rapping they also teach modeling, acting and such. and attendance barely counted at that school (SOPA) if you went like three times a month you would still pass. since its a school for celebrities. they understand that they wont have time.btw the school that he went to is called School of Preforming Arts.

Rm is also one of the most fastest rappers in South Korea but he doesn’t show It and he got some criticism from infamous Americans rappers saying that he can’t rap fast and is not good which is why he wrote joke. The translation of joke doesn’t make sense but he wrote to show them “rappers” and the haters that he can rap fast but just doesn’t show it.
