- finally made it out to Key West, Florida and wanted to show you some things it has to offer and what you can expect. Stayed in Duval Street and went all over the island via Scooters. Is it a romantic place? fun? etc Lets find out!

Guys, so glad you had such a great time. I agree 100 percent on renting scooters or a cart. You can’t see the island the same way in a car. I love the Half Shell Raw Bar and their Key Lime Pie. But the A and B looked good also. Maybe we’ll run into you there sometime. I can see the strong love between you. All the best to you both!

Great video! I lived in Key West for 7 years. I agree, there is no reason to have a car there. Rent a bike or scooter or even just walk. I very rarely needed my car while living there and mainly walked everywhere or sometimes rode my bike. Also, if you want to do some sailing the clothing optional day trips (all guys) out to one of the reefs for snorkeling are really fun!!!
It is a beautiful island but things have changed significantly. Take a stroll one street before Duval, Whitehead, explore that area. Many beautiful places. Also, explore Ft. Zach....

@@GregRBaird I did love it. Not a lot of beaches though. It’s mostly for checking out the different establishments and enjoy the unique feel it seems. It’s a must see in my opinion.

How do they scam people?
@@CrisLopezVlogs We were there this past May, our 5th time in 4 years. We have rented a golf cart last two times. Each day, at the parking meter "things" where u buy time for parking, I would buy the max allowed per day. One evening we pull into a lot on Caroline St next to Hanks Bar. At the entrance of the lot is a big blue circle with the letter P just like all of the others around KW. Public Parking you say??? Yeah and no, make sure you read the other sign in fine print about being privately owned but open to tje public BUT you pay a seperate fee on some app. We did not read the fine print sign and we walked out into the lot just as our cart was beiing towed. Cost us $75 to have the driver drop it. Yeah, you can say it was fault and I have no defense but when you see the signs at the entrance you be sure to tell me your thoughts.
@@CrisLopezVlogs and yes, I did ask several "locals" and it is a well know tourist scam. I have no problem with people making a buck but that lot is a scam and they know it.
@@CrisLopezVlogs and as a final insult the mayor and city manager did not have the balls to reply to my email (which was not out of control) asking them about that tourist trap.
It’s a shame, we gays bring it back and then the straights take it over. Key West was a wonderful place to visit. Now it’s sooo overpriced. Always a clothing optional B&B’s. NOW there’s even a Starbucks? Used to be a local coffee shop. I’ve always opted for FLL, nicer beaches, better food and lots of gay men.
