- A 3D animation of the life and death of General Grievous. Enjoy!
Grievous served as the Supreme Commander of the CIS Droid Army during the Clone Wars.
While he was not Force-sensitive, he trained under the Sith Lord Count Dooku in lightsaber combat to rival the Jedi knight of the Republic.
Throughout the Clone Wars, Grievous murdered numerous Jedi and collected their lightsabers as trophies, making him one of the most infamous and feared Jedi hunters in the galaxy.
He developed a rivalry with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who eventually killed Grievous in Revenge of the Sith.
Before General Grevious's fearsome reputation as a merciless military leader, he was a well-known warlord and god-like figure on his native planet Kalee.
The Kaleesh were reptilian humanoids and typically wear a traditional mask to conceal their face. Kaleesh culture was deeply spiritual and warlike. War was seen as an essential part of life, and wars between tribes were common.
Grevious, also known by his original name as Qymaen Jai Sheelal became both a fearsome warrior and warlord, while also gaining an understanding of warfare and battle tactics during the Kaleesh's war against the Huk, which led to the upbringing of the warlord's personal vendetta against the Galactic Republic as they supported their enemy, the Yam'rii.

If I recall correctly, it was George Lucas himself who said that Grievous was a shadow of what Anakin was going to become.
given that his brain was altered Grievous must be considered just another droid with no other purpose than war and destruction. Once the war was no longer needed, he was disposable. Rather sad figure lost in his world of hate.
Palpatine could've given Anakin a body like Grevious' but instead gave him an outdated bulky suit as punishment for not having the high ground.
That was AWESOME!!! Thanks! The first moment I saw Grievous I said to myself, hmmm, I wonder what HIS story is. And now I know.
You and me both, I really didn't know much about Grievous in general.
Would love to see Anakin's Corellian G9 Rigger-class light freighter Twilight from you. Your renderings of Star Wars ships are the best I've seen.
Really, thanks for the compliment!
I really with Grievous had a larger roll and more screen time in RotS
This video will be a fine addition to my collection
The 4 Armed Grievous body would make a vicious IG Bounty Hunter Droid if it was mass produced.
If you thought IG88 was bad ass in the Mandalorian. Imagine what a IG Droid that could have 4 arms do!
It was IG-11 in the Mandalorian. Same class, different model.
@@lopaka76 Thanks, got my #'s mixed up in my head.
Cough was apparently caused by mace windu's force crush in an early animated episode. Should have been more of a monster as he initially was in early animated clone wars.
That occured in the the original Clone Wars series (the one with the 5 minute episodes on Cartoon Network, in 2005). It was edited into a long movie (found on Disney+) is no longer considered cannon.
You have the newer Clone Wars "The Final Season" that ran from 2008-2015, and an additional set of episodes were added in 2020-2021, which replaces the original.
Great work 🥳🥳🥳 Thank youuuuu 💜💜💜
You’re welcome 😊
If greivous had 8 arms would he be called general good grief?
As in the last thing people say before being sliced into a million bits by spinning lightsabers?
Thank you so much! ♥️
You are so welcome!
A fine addition to my collection.
Love your videos dude, keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Fantastic ! Amazing !
Many thanks!!
Great background information and video / CG
Glad you liked it Joe!
Another amazing video
Glad you enjoyed it Mr. H!
@@Halfscreenyour welcome
Awesome video, mate. I've subbed, and now I'm gonna go binge watch your videos.
Welcome aboard!
@@Halfscreen Thank you. I'm really enjoying your content.
@@Spinal_Pap No problem. And thanks for watching.
Grevious' cough was caused by his initial fight with Mace Windu, who crushed the gutsack damaging his lungs.
I thought, Grievous's cough was from Mace Windu choking him when he tried to kidnap Palpatine.
Grievous looks like he was built JUST to sell toys.
Heya, are you going to do a video on the resurgent class star destroyer by the first order in the future? Seeing this reminds me of the clone wars, and the venator which THEN reminds me about that ship, it’s pretty cool
I'm thinking about it since I brought the 3D model already.
The kaleesh is in the video amazing
Will you be doing a review of the Bad Batches ship the Marauder?
There is something that needs to added. Mace Windu crushed General Grivious slightly which in addition to the lung irretation is why he coughs!
Isn't canon
please do a video about deep space nine, did enterprise nx-01
Can you please make a rocinante ship breakdown video. I think the expanse has many very realistic and amazing ships. I'm sure many viewers will enjoy it.
Let me think about it.
@@Halfscreen Thanks for reading the comment. I subbed btw.
hey can you do the supremacy class star destroyer? i'd love to see it
I haven't find a good 3D model of the supremacy yet.
Mace Windu force crush.
You're the only one in the comments to know how grievous actually got his cough 😂😂
@@OGbluetooth_ TY I know my stuff.
His story is tragic too
👍👍
Where did you get the model for his crashed shuttle?
That design is great for a shuttle
It was in my 3D collection. I don't remember to be honest.
I wonder why he changed from plantigrade to digitigrade leg design?
If anyone plays destiny or destiny 2 I think it’s safe to say taniks the scarred is based on grevious
i wonder which cybernetic is much more advance, darth vader or general grievous?
Probably Vader since he was built after Grievous.
General Grievous’
Darth Vader’s was purposely outdated
0:34 my guys spelling just went bbebebehejeelea
According to info from Lucasfilm, General Grievous' cybernetics were less advanced than Darth Vader's, making him a prototype or proof of concept model of sorts.
nope, Vader's cybernetics were cheap and unreliable to keep him on a leash so to speak so that he could be controlled.
@@skrunklyOwO Yep, it could be both ways--my info comes from one of the behind the scenes videos on the prequel movie DVDs. Just as how IRL there are numerous prosthetics manufacturers with different costs and levels of quality, so too would the Old Republic/Empire have different cyberlimb makers with different costs and levels of reliability. Palpatine's priority was to get Vader stabilized after his massive trauma, so he would have ordered whatever was available most quickly, had his medical droids perform "meatball surgery" on Vader to fix him up as fast as possible, and then forbade him from improving any of his prosthetics or medical equipment to keep him under control, even though Vader could easily have upgraded his gear with better equipment regardless of cost because the Empire would be footing his medical bills, and then used his technical expertise to enhance it just like he did with his right arm as Anakin.
Why make his internal organs so vulnerable... ?
It's republic, not "replubic" get it right!
So unciviliced...
Am I the first?
Seem like it.
Does that mean something to you? How sad...
