Star Trek: Inside the USS Zheng He
A 3D animation of the USS Zheng He, Enjoy!
The USS Zheng Hey served as a Federation starship of the Inquiry class and was under the command of Starfleet during the late 24th and early 25th centuries.
It is likely that the vessel was christened in honor of Zheng Hey, the notable 15th-century Chinese admiral and court eunuch. The bridge set used on the ship was a modified version of the USS Discovery bridge set.
In the year 2399, Acting Captain William T. Riker took command of the Zheng He as part of a fleet assigned to protect Coppelius.
The vessel was later part of a Starfleet armada assembled to confront a massive Singularity that emerged from a spatial anomaly.
During this mission, the ship faced a brief compromise when the Borg Queen assimilated the USS Stargazer and acquired its command codes.

The front part that you keep calling a separating warhead is not nor has it ever been a warhead. no designer would ever under any circumstance install the Impulse engine drive control system, or an entire living quarters inside a warhead let alone the deflector shields or the embarkation/debarkation docking hatch. what you just did in this video is spread misinformation about the Defiant, Also the Defiant never had shuttles this like the the front detachable warhead was mis-represented by several people who were never involved in the creation of the Defiant. You also pointed to several torpedo launchers near the warp nacelles, first of those weren't torpedo launchers those were the pulse cannons. it sure would be nice if you actually did some real research and knew what you were talking about instead of making things up.

Interesting. I love how people flesh out the inside of the ship with rooms after some desugner sketched the ship, as though it were actually real. A couple of stand-out design flaws. 1. The upper torpedo launchers look like they could only shoot downward. The middle section of lower saucer clearly hangs lower than these torpedo launchers. A serious oversight my whoever originally sketched this ship. 2. The saucer separation. I'm going to guess this vid took liberties here as the warp core apparently runs the length of the neck and lower hull which would make it impossible to separate the saucer with the "neck" remaining attached to the saucer. Also, both aesthetically, functionality and sensibly speaking, it makes far more sense that just the saucer alone separates and that the neck is physically part of the lower hull. If that's not true then I must say it's very poorly thought out to separate the saucer with the neck still attached. Just my opinion.

I can't believe that I'm not seeing a comment about the "enlisted officer's" quarters @10:33 . Someone is _either_ enlisted _or_ an officer. From the context, I'm assuming this was supposed to be "non-commissioned officers'", "petty officers'", or possibly "senior enlisted" quarters. For anyone wondering, in the military, "officer" is shorthand for a "commissioned officer" (where a "commission" is analogous to having graduated from Starfleet Academy; note, for most of history, one could buy a commission or be a college graduate to become a commissioned officer) while a "non-commissioned officer" is a senior enlisted member, and "petty officer" is a senior enlisted sailor (someone who isn't "commissioned" and most likely didn't have a college degree when they started their military service.

I really like your videos... but I have something to question you on. The final shot of the HALO ring is well known as 10,000 km in diameter. The HALO ring comparison is way off scale. According to the math: The Death Star 1 is 160 km in diameter. 10,000 ÷ 160 should get you 62.5 DS1's inside the HALO Ring. The Death Star 2 is 200 km in diameter. 10,000 ÷ 200 should get 50 DS2's inside the Ring. Stakiller Base is 660 km in diameter. 10,000 ÷ 660 should get 15.15 SB's inside the Ring. I hope this isn't taken as me hating on this video. I've watched it I don't how many times, and this is the first time I actually noticed. I was thinking of a book series by David Weber - Empire From the Ashes or The Armageddon Inheritance series, or just the Dahak series. Dahak is the AI/Central Computer of the Fourth Imperium Utu-class Battle Planetoid Dahak. 3,200 km in diameter, the Utu-class planetoid is an absolute beast of a machine. Anyway... that's just my opinion on this. Otherwise I love your videos!
