    Wow! Finally a video worth watching!! Thank you so much for doing this! I know NOTHING about how to work pneumatic cylynders and was really looking to learn and increase my knowledge on the subject. I've seen countless videos on CZcams about this and NONE have been the least bit helpful. Just when I was losing faith in youtube humanity, I stumbled on to your video and finally got a lesson that made me feel like I might actually be able to make this happen!! Thanks man! I really needed this inspiration and guidance!

    Quick and to the point. Thanks. Only suggestion would be to use a wireless mic (lav) so we can hear you better.

    Video wasn't clear on the clevis mounting base or what was used to mount the aluminum bars to the cylinder

  • @iowachapman
    @iowachapman Před 9 lety +1

    Do you have details on what you use to mount the cylinder to the swing arms, and what you are doing for swing arms attached to 2x4, I figure they are between 2 washers to allow it to still move without much friction.

  • @sk1ppy506
    @sk1ppy506 Před 8 lety

    Hi, I would like to build this, but I have a few questions. What were the lengths of the wood and pvc and what air cylinder did you use?

  • @davewhitman5392
    @davewhitman5392 Před 10 lety

    I would love to make a corpselator pneumatic. I could only find an 'exorcist' one on the web. Seems pretty complicated.

    • @Brokmobile
      @Brokmobile  Před 10 lety

      Not really. It's still just one cylinder but the frame is different. Once having the frame for that, the only things different would be you need a "double acting" cylinder and a different solenoid. Either a 4 way or a 5 way, but the concept is pretty much the same. In fact, that's probably going to be my next pneumatic project

  • @WallaceManor

  • @RyanLoetscher
    @RyanLoetscher Před 8 lety +1

    How do you make these types of props without an air compressor? Like ones you buy at the spirit store?

    • @Brokmobile
      @Brokmobile  Před 8 lety +1

      Motors, springs, and swing arms. Easy in theory but a lot of fabrication to get the mechanics working properly. I wondered the same thing before I started

    • @AGRawrIsBored
      @AGRawrIsBored Před 3 lety

      I know this is a super late reply, but you could also use a Linear Actuator, it's an electric version of a Piston. They have the pros and cons, but don't require an air compressor at all.

  • @diane253

    • @Brokmobile
      @Brokmobile  Před 10 lety

      Well the prop controller was $90. Sounds expensive, but hands down completely worth it. As far as everything else goes, hard to say because it was my first one so there was a lot of trial and error and buying things I didn't need to
