Barbara Walters created this show that’s why the entire show was about her. Barbara was on The View when it was worth watching. After she left it turned into a circus

Interesting, they said that people on the crew, some of who he hired himself, are still there, but they ousted him back in 2014 after Barbara announced that she was retiring, like they were a package deal or something? There's no reason why he couldn't have continued as Executive producer of the show that he helped create.

Wow, I have watched this sho for 17 years, minus some episodes when a certain cohost that starts with an R disappointed me, I loved Bill, he was the boss but was humble enough to just be an accessory 😊

Without naming , theres one on the curent show who will not stop talking. She constantly interrupts the others,and I find her rather cold and rude. I remember Mr. Geddes. Seemed like a talented behind the scenes producer. He also had quite the apoeal, and charm.

Bill Geddie left The View before Raven was a host. He left at the end of the 2013-14 season. Raven started as a host in 2015-2016.
There are 10 other hosts missing, not just Raven.
the more they talk about Bill, the less I like him. Sounds like a work nightmare lol.
The ratings on "The view" were terrible the 1st year. They improved the following year(s) but not great. It was NOT until Rosie O'Donnell became the shows moderator did the sleepy talk show get HOT! Rosie made "The view" must see morning TV. For me none of these women today with the exception of Joy REALLY never worked with Bill. Whoopie worked on "The view" maybe 5 years with Bill. In 2013 the rating were in the toilet! ABC took over the show. They let Joy go and Bill resigned or was fired. For me the show was NEVER better then it was with Rosie O'Donnell as the shows moderator during the 2006-07 season and the ratings support that. Again, she returned in 2014 briefly and again the ratings spiked. Rosie was back as a co-hos this time. BIG ratings! Whoopie ruined Rosie and her return out of pure jealousy. It is to bad because the brief time Rosie 7 Whoopie worked together on camera anyway was REALLY good! They had chemistry! Behind the scene not so good it has been my understanding. After that every former child star was a co-host on "The view".

@@kennethsoshi03 can only guess you’re an O’Donnell super fan, & that’s fine, or you’re confusing her for Walters. O’Donnell was the loudmouth who was on the show for a grand total of 23 months. She created nothing. Admittedly, she was half of the super immature split screen argument that definitely upticked their ratings, but that situation was directed by Geddie.
