      To make more profit you can charge the buyer for the shipping fee, that way you won't cut into your strict budget as much as you are atm.

    2:49 Piezo speaker! I love this particular design with the springs making the contact, as it's much easier to take apart than if it was soldered with wires. The color is totally normal.

      This used to exist on all of the 90s handheld LCD video games. Those two springs connect to them.

      @@karthik3k not only handheld games. Its in every LCD and other battery powered watch which has an alarm or beep, except for mechanical watches

    Good fix 👍 And yes, your videos can sometimes be too short for us who really enjoy your content, but you're not a complete amateur and you often see the logic why your items are broken, so that makes the repair much quicker.     Recognize the thing on the back immediately and looks like other people already let you know! Piezo Speaker, but hey having a simple fix is perfectly fine by me. Short videos are good too, especially when I don't have time to watch a 30 minute one! I do electronic fixes like this too occasionally as a hobby along with hack mods too, and I'm just glad I can watch other people do things I enjoy doing and actually learn from them too!

    Funny how a watch can have a headphone jack.....but a cellphone can’t 🤣🤣
    Don’t remember ever seeing this watch back in the day. Of course I had the best watch of the time back then.....NOPE, not the calculator watch😂; I had the Remote Control Watch🤣 Drove my teachers in school batty, nut did come in handy in couple of classes when actually needed to rewind or stop one of those infamous “health class” videos😉

    As many have said piezo speaker usually connected to the main part of the watch by a small spring that touches the center of the piezo the spring usually rests in a round hole the center part of the piezo looked a little tarnished. A piezo speaker is an electro static type speaker the other contact for the speaker is the watch case

    You should check if the battery lasts through the week. I have three similar watches: one loses picture on a new battery within the hour, the other two drain new batteries in about one or two weeks. Maybe they were always that power hungry, I don't know, but it sure makes wearing them unappealing...

    Just found this watch from growing up. Thanks for the vid! I did try to remove all the corrosion which I feel it does look pretty good. Got a new battery and installed it back to how you put it back but it doesnt turn on. Is this something you may be interesting in a PT2 vid to see if/what I can/cannot repair? Would pay of course.....

    Nice item Steve, I think you will turn a profit on it :-) That little circle thing on the back cover is a piezo buzzer for the sound if you didn't want to wear headphones.

    I could be wrong but I don’t think they’d have been making Super Mario World watches before 1990 as the game only came out on the Super Famicom in November of 1990 in Japan. The Super Mario Bros 3 watch might have been earlier though as it was a different design (and there were also Tetris and Zelda versions of that watch). There was a Starfox game in the style of this watch.

    Might be a difficult challenge but how about trying to fix a drone? I found one on eBay for 179.99 but looks like it might be a huge challenge but if fixed could give a large profit. DJI PHANTOM 4 STANDARD QUADCOPTER WM330A This is in the description to make it easy to look up. Even if this is not a good choice I still like the drone fixing in general and you always seem to be up for a difficult challenge. Love your videos and have a great day.

    These watches were manufactured and released in 1990 with this particular one being from late 1990/ early 1991 meaning you've failed to adhere to the guidelines.

      @@Tronicsfix And yeah it is really loud, I think the point of the headphone jack was you could plug in headphones to play it during class; but when I tried I got blasted by the "DOOT DOOT DOOT DO DEEEEE DO" and everyone could hear it anyway 😂

    It is definitely post 1990, because it's a Mario World watch. there were Mario watches made in 1989, but those were Mario 3 watches.

    Your's looks like a Nelsonic original, Retro Future's I am sure was a Zeon branded one for the European markets as Nelsonic didn't have any means to enter the market when it was just easier to subcontract it to small firm. Zeon are still going but now just peddle stuff straight from Shenzen, no more Japanese movements, dunno if Nelsonic is still afloat? I seem to remember the last Nintendo collab was a Star Fox watch then they moved over to Tamigotchii style stuff.

      Yes, the new Xbox Elite2 Controller, will arrive Nov. 4th which hopefully will address some of the previous controller's biggest problems, let me guess, stick drift, broken shoulder buttons, rubber grips have fallen off over time. Steve take one of these apart, pretty please with sugar on top !
