@@tamra8018 I’ve noticed that most CZcamsrs use an Equinox Minelab. I don’t have one but I recently found my first coins at the beach and was ecstatic. Garrett Ace 400. 3 quarters, 2 dimes, 9 nickels, and 3 pennies - $1.43 total. Someone must’ve emptied their pockets. Other finds at the same beach- tent stake, screw, pull tab, crab snare metal crimp, and bobby pin. Note: I was almost ready to quit after 1.5 hours when I began finding the coins.
I will be dipping my feet on that journey 😁 Im currently waiting for my 📦 I order minelab manticore bundle can't wait for it to arrive 🤭😁🥰 I love watching you all it's very exciting , I will explore Florida beaches 😁🥰
I myself detect and i myself have encountered 10 plus detecting the same beach but many don't know how to use them or buying detectors from cheap places that aren't worth it
In this case I think most of all the detectorists where experienced with quality equipment, rare to see a newbie with cheap equipment dig their way down a 12 cut. Thank You 👍
Why, the beach changes every day and rarely is it ever like that day was. No need for new grounds but when the timing is just right the ground is always good. Thank You 👍
No need to cover your holes when only metal detectors are on the beach. We had to dig are way down that 15' cut and dig our way back up and out, the next high tide cleaned up the holes by adding a few feet of sand back.
I was at another beach after one of California big storms this winter. I got one gold ring, but I dug twenty one silver coins. Get a metal detector and head to the beach after a storm.
@@TheMrFlyBoy18 Yes, I will recommend a beach. Do you know where Will Rogers State Beach is? I would not normally tell you this, but I will not be around much longer. I have mesothelioma. Don't go to Will Rogers Beach if there is no storm. Your gonna have to wait till next winter. Big winter storms stir up beach sand and that gives you access to old coins that are buried now. Ok, I'll tell you where, after paying for parking 7-10 dollars, park your car on the north side of the entrance. Low tide gives you access to a lot of wet sand. Just detect the wet sand. I look for a cut in the sand along the high tide line and the water line when the tide is out. Zigzag from the cut (hight water line) to the waters edge. Somewhere between the high and low tide lines you will discover where the bulk of the targets will be hiding. Last winter I went to Will Rogers three time. First time there was a cut and I dug fourteen silver coins and a gold ring. Second time there was no storm and I managed to dig three silver coins. The third time it was right after a storm and I dug twenty-one liver coins, and a gold ring. Good luck.
99% of the jewelry I find has no marks identifying who owned it. No special inscriptions, no dates. Just purity and makers mark. In 6 years detecting I've found 1 ring with a date and an inscription. And I've never found any online posts describing the rings I find.
Returns are incredible hard. All I can do is post on L&F if there is no other identifying marks and even if there is they are difficult. So yes we do but rarely do we actually make a return. Lots of scammers though and that makes it even worse. Thank You 👍
Beach detectors need really strong processors to be good, I like the Minelab Equinox series the 600 is awesome and costs about $600 though you can find deals as newer models are coming. Anything cheaper is not going to work on the beach very good anyways.
Nobody but metal detectorist climbed down that 15' cliff of sand to be on the beach! I had to dig my way down and dig my way back up,, so the only people on that beach were metal detectorists digging as much as we could before the tide chased us out. Now you understand!!! I always fill my holes when there are other people enjoying the beach but in this case it was us detectorist digging up that beach without anyone else on it. I also will layer out sections of beach regardless of how busy it is however once I am done layering out the area I fill all the holes. I am sadden I have to explain this but I realize not everyone is a beach metal detectorist.
My Grandparents told me never ever wear jewelery to the beach. It will steal it.
I just wish it would have let me keep my sunglasses
I love how these guys are all so friendly and supportive of each other!!
That’s how ,I lost my wedding ring . Body surfing and the cool water shrunk my finger .
Yep, you can lose up to 2 ring sizes in just first 15 minutes in the water.
You can find it again if there is a metal detector.. let me know if you want to have one
@@daudches lol 😂 happily remarried since then . But ty
Aww man I’m sorry pal. I’d be so sad if my wedding ring fell off :(
I just want to walk the entire Oregon trail and metal detect it and see what the pioneers dropped along the way before I die
That would be some serous tough detecting, Thank you 🤙
Looks like a fun beach! Thanks for sharing, Jim. 👍💃
👍👍👍😁
Awesome finds!!
Thank You 👍
I always see what direction he’s going and avoid it by a lot.
You and your chums are having a golden day! 😁
a golden day is right, Thank you 🤙
Amazing Jim but you're teasing with these shorts, can't wait for a new longer video from you 😊
Thank you 🤙
Very nice finds. Congrats
Looks like damn feeding frenzy
We had a storm of the century here in Ct and RI coins and jewelry galore
Man, that is a productive beach!
Did they have a concert or rave party there to contribute so much to your finds?
No, huge winter storm eroded the beach.
@funwithjim I've found NOTHING with my Pancky Detector on the entire beach and at a dog park. Is this a worthless Detector? What brand do you use?

I would be there with that big cut! Good luck!
I like parks in Australia 🇦🇺 ,lots are old and have pre decimals and silvers ❤😂they all have weed cones and bong stems 😂
Cool 😎

Lotta’ sand. Changes with each tide.
Metal detecting is the best it can helps a lot we never have empty pocket
Very True, Thank You 👍
You had a good day Jim 😎🇨🇦 Lots of gold
Thank You 👍
I love the hobbie
Looks like you should be wearing a Proton pack. GB
Can’t wait to get my metal detector and get back out there!😮💨
As long as mugs keep wearing their jewellery to the beach you and your mates will keep finding a it 😂
Thank you 🤙
Wow
Wish I was there with my nox 🥳.
Everybody too scared to swim here in North Queensland so not much to find 😒.
🍻🇦🇺🤝.
Another huge cut, wow! I have seen 8-foot cut there but that's 12 to 15 feet.
Yes, huge cut all they way almost to Newport Pier, Thank You 👍
God bless you Jim good hunting

I get pissed when I'm out on the beach and another detectorist comes to hone in on my loot
I am used to it, if another detectorist sees me on the beach hunting an area they move quickly towards my area.
Wow look at that where is that?
Looks like Nome AK.gold rush!
There are areas of Nome beach that after storms are mega gold producers and if you need a little silver head over to Old Fort Davis. Thank You 👍
Time for new grounds 😳😳

Ive found lots of gold looking items beach detracting most of the time it's beer bottle tops😔 but sometimes it's a pound coin
must be a good beach
It is, I waited several years for conditions to be like that!
May i ask what detector you use? I'm a young guy trying to get into it
Minelab Equinox 900
Where did you get your shovel
ckgscoop.com
What sifter do you like?
ckg scoops is what I use
Wheres this at?
Wow, a lot of them but they don’t cover their holes. Do they wait for the tide to cover them?

The commoradity (sp) you have with others is remarkable?
Whats the name of that scoop?
ckg titanium scoop
Maybe you can try your detector in the Philippines

Or just by whatever the tides are doing?
Tide times usually dictate when I hunt, but I do prefer the early mornings. Thank You 👍
