Though not expert I will suggest to start with Mandukya Upanishad with Karika by Shankaracharya and Bhagwat Geeta Particularly Second chapter. Try as many videos as you can on both by various speakers viz. Chinmay Mission, Swami Anubhav Anand, Swami Sarvapriyanand and so many others.
You can please start with Bhagavad Geeta. Before that, please understand the basics of Sanaatana Dharma or Hindu philosophy. This works and stands on 1. Reincornation is there.2.Aatma has no death. 3. Every human being is solely responsible responsible for his/her karma and bear the fruits of it either good or bad, either in this incarnation or future incarnations. 4. Incarnations are because of our own Karma.5.Since God had given intelligence and discrimination power to human beings, he will not interfere with his Karma and its effects.
