What also makes Cleetus's insult more meaningful is how Venom reacts to it. Both Venom and Eddie share the same exact memories and Venom probably read far into his past and Venom tried to defend him, so that means everything Cleetus said is true.
It’s comic accurate too. Eddie’s mother died giving birth to him, and his father blamed him for her death.
On top of that the symbiotic (lol) relationship binds their mind making any disease sort of Venoms disease too

I'm wondering, if Venom is inside Eddie's head (he says so in the first movie) why does Eddie have to actually talk so he can communicate with Venom? Can't he just think what he means to say, so he'll talk only to Venom and he won't get into awkward situations like with the prison guards as seen in these scenes? In the movie I'd figure it's mostly for comic effect but how about in the comics? Is it the same thing?
It varies. Sometimes Eddie speaks in his mind, but most times he does speak out loud to Venom just like in the movie. But he _can_ talk in his mind if he has to be discreet, however when that happens he tends to zone out while doing it so then it becomes awkward cause he's just staring blankly at people lmao.

I imagine that it's not as easy as it may sound to have real conversations, with a real entity that is not the product of your thoughts. It's kind of built into our brains to conversate audibly.
It's done to show realism, you talk to yourself in your head, you don't talk to someone else in your head, they are two different personalities, it's like when a schizo with MPD the different personalities converse outloud not in the head
As soon as I saw this scene, I began to fully understand why Carnage is red in colour. It turns out that as soon as Cletus managed to bit out the part of Venom out from Eddie's body, the tiny symbiote got intermixed immediately with Eddie's blood as soon as he got it out, making Carnage to be red in color.
So Eddie and Venom are dadies?

@@Succubus_Loli I know who Carnage is. I know who Cletus is. I do in fact read and I am a fan of Marvel. I just didn't like the portrayal, that's all. Cletus was disappointing because he never felt like a threat, and ended up just being this weak pathetic guy despite being a serial killer.
So again, I just didn't like the movies portrayal of the characters. But that's just my subjective opinion.

Carnage is created when Cletus ingests some of Eddie's symbiote after biting his hand, making Venom a father of sorts to Carnage. Carnage aims to kill Venom.

If sea star gets its part of body chopped off its going to regenerate but that chopped off part of body will also GENERATE a new sea star out of itself . So predators by attacking them actually help them reproduce,hope i made it clear to you now.
@@blackwingBF They can lay eggs so to speak but can also split like an amoeba that makes another symbiote. In the comics Eddie's son Dylan is also Venom's son, he's a human symbiote hybrid.

This movie felt like something you'd see in the early 2000s when CBMs weren't doing particularly well outside of Spider-Man and X-Men. It's just unacceptable to have a Venom vs Carnage movie be so bland and forgettable when it isn't even 2 years old yet.

This is so stupid. I don't like part of all carnage scenes. It was all bullshit!
The "Venom voice" is still the lamest, cringes thing I've heard in a movie, second only to all the other Tom Hardy character voices out there. I'm pretty sure it's the only reason I've only seen CZcams clips of this movie and have never been able to make the time to sit and watch the whole thing.
