- We stayed at the Lotus Blanc Hotel and Resort on 24 December, 2022. We paid $55 USD for a deluxe double room but received an upgrade to the suite room (cost for the suite on the same night was $135 USD). Of course there are fantastic, less expensive options in Siem Reap, but we wanted to stay somewhere nice for Christmas. We enjoyed the beautiful quality bed linen, the soft towels and super hot shower, then the next morning, we started Christmas day off in style with the buffet breakfast. This hotel is great value at the moment; $55 for this standard is a bargain. Check it out if you are coming to Siem Reap or just want a fun, luxury staycation! Yeah, it was all about the breakfast! We were looking at going to FCC for breakfast on Christmas morning but it was nearly $20 per person, so when we saw this for $55, it was a no brainer! Hope your start to 2023 was wonderful. 🙂🙏🛵🍭

Siem Reap is a paradise for cheap hotels
At the moment they are very cheap during low season.
That is a lovely hotel. When I arrive in a city for the first time I want it to leave an unforgettable impression. I used to travel on a poor persons budget. Now I can afford more. When I travel to PP I first considered your choice of Jungle Addition but found the nearby Pavillion Hotel more exciting especially when they pick me up from the airport in their classic Jaguar haha.
Getting picked up from the airport in a classic Jag is definitely a good reason to choose that hotel! We like to mix it up - a few days in a more local hotel then a night in a nicer place. I really love having the buffet breakfast now and then, too.

That fish was enormous! The pond was big in size but very shallow. Super scary fish, though! Definitely find a lovely hotel for your visit - this one is nice but a little far from the town centre. 🙂🙏🛵🍭

The rate you got of $55 was a one off pandemic bargain, something all hotels were doing…price is double that now

Hmmmm, could be the pool I'm looking for! But 55 for a swim is quite a bit. And just the idea the catfish (?) is coming over for a chat scares me to hell!
Yes, the fish is pretty scary! You'd hope they keep it well-fed. I can't imagine how aggressive it would be if it was hungry. That pool is one of the bigger ones in SR for sure. 🙂🙏🛵🍭

We spent New Years at the lotus blanc and it suited our age as opposed to the intensity and noise of pub street. Beautiful hotel and the staff is fantastic. Happy new year to all. Thank you for the good work you do.
Thanks so much, Elizabeth! We really enjoyed our stay there. We went out for dinner on New Year's Eve but were home before 10pm. It was crazy out there even at that time.
What a nice place. We stayed at the Sokha (we splurged a little) when we were there. But this place looks very nice. What is it with these hotels and their safes. They're not bolted down, so a thief can simply take the whole thing and open it at their convenience. None of the hotels we stayed at secured the safe to a strong structure.
Yes! Totally agree with what you say about the safes. It's not a safe if it's just sitting on the shelf.... Oh well, these big hotels are pretty secure and I can't imagine anything going missing. Lotus Blanc was a lovely place to stay, we really enjoyed it. 🙂🙏🛵🍭

Oh I have seen people put some weird stuff into those toasters. Like they make a sandwich out of bread, ham and cheese, then try to toast it in there. Of course it all falls out the back and makes a huge smoking mess. Hilarious. That fish was scary. I knew it was big, but I didn't realise it would be so aggressive. 🙂🙏🛵🍭

Lotus Blanc is kind of a Boutique hotel and if I’m not mistaken, it is 3* plus (of course it is 5* local)
I would rate it 5 star for sure. It's comparable with other 5 star places I have stayed in terms of standard and facilities. 🙂🙏🛵🍭

I had something similar for the same price in the French quartor of PP. I had my own balcony yard next to the wall of the hotel!!
The staff were super frinedly and had a free apetitzer party in the evening with all the hotel staff and selected guests!!

It's my go-to hotel when I stay in Siem Reap, nice review and lovely staff. At the moment as you pointed out the other side is closed, due to visitor numbers. Great hotel

@@ForRiel, at the moment, all clients are housed on the privileged side of the hotel, so I have had rooms on floors 1 and 3 - you had the floor 2 room. As you go higher, the rooms get bigger. The other side that's not open are smaller rooms, but still lovely but not as flashy a bit more basic. I do like that the pool is not in the shade, unlike many hotels in the town.
What a monster at the end! I wasn't expecting anything quite that big. Looks good - I've been there for a golf function for dinner around the pool - so was good to see around the hotel. That is a bargain!

Lovely hotel Claire. I did look at this year's ago before I stayed at Jaya house, it seems a fair way out of town. I thought next time I might try the FCC. You guys are living the dream. I would love to move but kids and what not in Australia, we might try 3 month stays
Oh FCC is lovely - we used to go there for breakfast on a Sunday sometimes. I would try the Borei if their prices go down. We stayed there in July 2019 and it was one of our favourite hotels ever. 3 month stays would be great! 🙂🙏🛵🍭

High season, and maybe you accidentally looked at dates over Khmer New Year. It's a bit dearer now, usually around $80. Not worth more than $55 imo.

Best deal I found in Siem Reap was 12$ a night in The pub guest house, swimming pool and all that, is just they didn't have own parking.
For the price poor room I hate to see what the other room was like
