Tubby Mclumpkins I agree---and I'm usually not the biggest Axenrot fan (much prefer Lopez), but he sounds really good here. Wondering what people are talking about when they say he didnt look comfortable on "The Roundhouse Tapes".
He had tendency to fasten up the songs, or at least the sections of the songs. demon of the fall 2001 wacken, the clean guitar section which is followed by the scream, and then "demon, demon of the fall" part, he played it faster than the studio version. I'm not saying he sucks (ofc not) but he had that little bug. There are a few songs more which he sped up, but can't remember which one

This band is so tight. ..do they do original songs? Not that it matters; this is the best Tribute band I've heard great bands and these guys really rock. ..I love their transitions !
+Carolyn Ruttenberg Dave's right. This is their stuff. The studio version of this is fucking killer too. Ghosts of Perdition's my favorite song in the entirety of the metal genre. Reverie/Harlequin Forest is also pretty fantastic.
Just started listening to Opeth, I'm loving this stuff. This song is great and Reverie/Harlequin Forrest is another fav from that album. I've heard they don't do metal anymore but they're such good musicians I'm sure I'll dig the new stuff too as I'm not a pure metal head
The stuff they do now is more 70's prog and less death/black metal like their early stuff, but I still consider it metal. Metal isn't defined by the growls, their tone is still really heavy on the past two albums.
Saw this live last not for the first concert of the Sorceress tour. Crowd went fucking insane, anyone been to a metal concert before? Everyone just pushes and shoves each other for no reason while headbanging.

Yeah axenrot is a very great drummer, but Lopez is unbelievable!! Miss him
